Avalanche @ Stars|11/4/11|6:30 PM MTN|Duchy Does Dallas

I couldn't see a GDT, so thought I'd start one!

Gonna stay up and watch this one, hoping the Avs can get back to their road winning ways.

This is going to be a tough one, Lehtonen is playing out of his mind atm.

It's 11/4/11, not 11/2/11

Yeah, my bad.

Loney, it's why I created the GDT - I had that title in mind

I'm gonna watch Falcon Crest. But seriously, if you're gonna put the Dallas theme up, it's only fitting I add the Dynasty theme, considering the locale.

I wish I didn't know that.

Cannot wait for this game, really want to see how Duchene does on Stastny's wing. Hopefully it can jump start this team

teams could have their hands full with dutchy playing on the wing, i bet you he is going to draw a ton of penalties. i hope it works out, we need scoring.

Good luck tonight guys. I'm hoping this will be closer than it looks. Our top line of Ott-Benn-Eriksson is going to be missing Ott this weekend so it could be rough as those three have shown great chemistry.

No embedded theme/clip to "Debbie Does Dallas"?

If Matty doesn't toughen up, I might have to start calling him "Bambi"...

Let's hope Duchene tears it up on the wing.

Anyone have a line-up or is it to early o.o?

Feeling another 40+ shot performance where Lehtonen sees every single puck coming his way.

You don't need a mod to change the title. Edit->advanced.

It will be interesting to see how Sacco uses the lines tonight and what the d pairings will be.

Thanks, Freudian.

Bubba, I was going for subtle, hence the lack of an embedded pic/vid. I do like your Bambi reference though

Gabriel, Sean Couturier looks like a a real hockey player (or crazy hermit). How long are you going be a pretty boy?

Duchene - Stastny - Hejduk
Landeskog - O'Reilly - Winnik
Lindstrom - Galiardi - Jones
McLeod - McClement - Kobasew

Wilson - Johnson
Quincey - O'Brien
Hejda - O'Byrne

I'm sure you guys already know, but those are the lines from practice yesterday, thought I'd re-post them here in the GDT.

Interesting, I'm not a big fan of them but we'll see.

Have we seen Lindstrom and Jones together yet?

The Stars are last in the NHL in home attendance. Crowds averaged 9,671 through the first six games at American Airlines Center.

Hope Wilson is ready to take the next step. He's looked very good this far. It's easy to think of him as a fully developed defender but he's just 24 years old and haven't even played two full seasons. I do worry that he and EJ might be a mistake prone duo.

Watch for Dallas to try to take advantage of that Hejda/ROB pair with a strong cycling line, and to match speed against EJ/Wilson to try to force turnovers.

Looks like Ott is out, which I like because he always seems likely to injure someone. And he seems to play well against us, though I hate be remembering this through hate-tinted glasses.

Looking for a win tonight, especially since I have family in Dallas who are huge Stars fans. Do not want to deal with those texts...

And I am curious to see how Duchene will respond on the wing. Go Avs!

I've had a hate-on for Dallas ever since the North Stars, a team I kind of liked, ended up there. Actually, now that I think about it I hate all Texas teams.
