I also wonder if anyone who was at today's game is going for the double-header.

Wanted to go, but was at the game today, not in the mood for a double header. I heard it's sold out and 15000 are Cornell fans. Great school spirit on BU's part, eh?

I was at MSG for a while after the Ranger game and I saw plenty of BU fans.

Boston U had great support during my time there. Granted, I haven't been to a game in nearly 10 years now.

I got to see Rangers prospect Pat Aufiero in person! What an honor! Guy made the right decision staying all 4 years and getting his degree, and I'm saying that having seen only his senior year.

The arena is definitely sold out. 15,000 Cornell fans seems legit. Mike Richter is here.

Is anyone watching this? That play just now was bizarre, reminds me of the Rucinsky OT goal in St Louis years back.

My thoughts exactly. Didn't we retire somebody's jersey that night?

Game was in St. Louis.

I don't think it hit either but MSG never showed us anything. I think it was just a bizarre play where the puck had a ton of backspin on it. The ref IMO blew it dead not because it hit the netting but because he had no idea where it was. He just assumed it hit the netting like most people probably did.

The game I was referring to was Messier's retirement night against Edmonton that was about a month after that. Also ended 5-4 in OT. Don't know how I confused two games from 5 years ago that just happened to be the same score. I was only 14 at the time.. crazy.

Anyway, here's the Rucinsky goal: http://video.rangers.nhl.com/videoce...13350&fr=false
