The Saint John Sea Dogs have signed 17 year old Denis Creighton

Playing Junior B in ONT anyone know much about him??

The native of Port Colborne, Ont., was obtained from the Thorold Blackhawks of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. Creighton recorded a goal, an assist and 45 penalty minutes in 16 games at the junior B level. Listed at six-foot-one, 188 pounds, Creighton is the son of former NHL player Adam Creighton, who played 708 games with the Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Louis Blues. Creighton and Sea Dogs Head Coach Gerard Gallant were teammates with the Lightning in 1993-94.

He attended Spitfires rookie camp in June,while he played ok dont believe he was

invited to main camp

May have been a favour on behalf of Spits Gm Warren Rychel to take a look as

his father Adam was once a teamate of Rychel"s in Chicago

While he did not overly impress me ,he could be a diamond in the rough

has good size,skates ok and can be pretty tough too

He just tweeted that he is heading back home to play. He said that he is going to be playing with Dubuque of the USHL. Can anyone tell me anything on him?
