get a power forward that is capable of being a leader and increasing everyone else's confidence

the isles need to get morrow doan or iginla or else all the potential they have is just wasted pretty much what happened with the panthers over the last 10 years

Jeez enough of the influx of complaining topics. Just make one universal Piss And Moan Topic.

this isnt a piss and moan topic im just saying how rebuilds fail if they lack a veteran that is still productive that is able to create a sense of confidence throughout the locker room

Other than Nathan Horton the Panthers never had anything that resembles the potential in JT or Grabner. The Isles are much better off if you ask me than the Panthers were 4-5 years ago as far as the talent they have, as far as management and the view the league has of them, much worse.

Iggy would be pushing the 'veteran' idea too far. He is at the end of his prime, looking either for a win-now situation or just to stay loyal to CGY and be a 1-franchise-his-whole-career kind of guy. NYI need a vet who can help now and later, when JT & Co are entering their primes, especially a d-man.

Remember when the Isles passed on Iginla because they didn't like his attitude?

iginla has been at the end of his prime for a few years now yet his production doesn't really decline and he would be playing with tavares who is alot better the tanguay or jokinen

Isles just need talent. Top four blueline and a RW. Don't really care what label he has on NHL12 or w/e.
