I'm not trying do anything but talk some hockey when I say this, but with a few days off for you guys coming up, if the Flyers win tonight, is it pretty much the breaking point?

I'm of the thought we prolong this disaster or if we don't, the shakeup might just be players traded.

Either way, I keep wondering if I'm going to see the mental breakdown of one Scott Arniel on (inter)national TV.

Yes. It would be most logical to drop the hammer after a loss tonight.

I would suspect so in some manner. However, I wouldn't doubt that Priest is sufficiently snowed into believing that this entire start is due to Carter missing and Mason sucking.

Translation: I'll believe a move at the coaching staff or GM level when I see it.

How about a drink for Rimer saying "left wing pass"?- I think he says that whenever he has no idea who passed or who was the intended receiver.

After every goal Davidge says something about paydirt...Anyways I'll be going to this one and I'm glad I'll get to see Johan and Cam. Most likely we'll lose this game if we had any kind of decent record. That said, I say we pull out the unthinkable and win. Thus prolonging the inevitable, making us more ****** in the long run.

Prospal usually sticks it to the Flyers-he scored his second career hat trick against them a few years ago. I hope he sticks it to philly.....

OT: My hearts not in this one to be honest. We got one of those 2 am phone calls friday. It sucks the life out of you to be there when your friend's 15 year old daughter has just been told her mother died.

Tell me that it is joke.

Our defense:

Tyutin, Moore
Methot, Russell
Johnson, Clitsome

find me a coach who would know win with players as Russell and Johnson and achievments of Mason.

You act like 2-9-1 is some sort of miracle with this team. While the team certainly isn't good, it isn't nearly as bad as Arniel's coaching makes it seem.

I wish it was a joke. Do professional athletes realize that a flu shot costs about $20 bucks? I get one every year, and havent missed a day of work in the last 5 years or longer.

We'll have to score at least 6 to win with that defense plus Mason in net. Might go place a huge bet on the over + Philadelphia.

Notice that when Mason was at least average our team played good and when he was good our tema was better about some levels. But when you have g-man who does not catch anything.... sorry but it has influence on all the team and nobody makes it something with it.

Give Mason away please and put there a chair it will have better %.

Wow, haha. Even the thought of that scenario playing out is making me angry. Which, of course, means it will probably happen.

Everyone here must stop with this "fire Howson" and "fire Arneil" nonsense. Right now.

I'm a longtime lurker but I can hide my silence no more. This is not Arneil or Howson's fault. They are working very hard to try to win. Wiz's suspension and a ridiculous amount of injuries are to blame. No team should be expected to win given this slew of injuries that has befallen this club.

Support your team. Buy tickets and cheer loudly. Don't boo. None of this banter about firing people is helping. Like Umberger said, this kind of talk distracts the players and only makes the situation worse.

Go Jackets! Arnie will turn this around!!! I believe!!!!

This.

Everyone isnt going to suddenly "turn it all around." Half of our top six needs to GTFO. That means trading Brass, Vermette, and moving RJ to the 3rd line.
