Granny Callahan was awesome.

Another great moment was when Bryz called his son Mini-Me.

The team Amtraks to Washington? Hell, I make that trip all the time. Why haven't I found myself surrounded by Flyers yet??

Edit: Ah, never mind. Judging by Lavi's leather seat, they travel much classier than I do.

Yeah I was surprised to see that as well. I am at 30th street station almost every day (I commute to school on the train) and never seen any Flyers

Just wanted to say that Bryzgalov is a tripper. What a character.

That tiger part was hilarious as well.

Thank you for whoever posted the link so I could watch it. This show is awesome not only from the Flyers side but also the Rangers. The locker room of the Flyers looks awesome. Like Beef said Hartsy looks like a big figure within there and maybe thats why the Flyers never even considered moving him? Giroux is awesome, he looks extremely pissed that he isn't in there and thats what I love in a player. Also like a beat writer said he was connecting those concussion dots like a boss, he won't be out too long lol. This is awesome to see inside out locker room.

Yeah, it was always sort of implied around the media and such that Hartnell was a big locker room presence. You could see hints of it in interviews and TV bits and such. I personally thought that was very clear in this episode, even with his limited exposure.

I thought it was good to see that the training staff was taking Giroux's situation very seriously. I also thought it was good to see a Desjardins poster front and center in McCrossin's office, just because.

The only problem i had with it was that it felt like they had more content for the rangers than the flyers had

I joked about that too but I am sure it will even out! (Any Rangers is too much Rangers!)

I was thinking the same, but then considered that Rangers fans were probably wondering why there was too much Flyers coverage.

I thought both teams were portrayed extremely well. Bryz was hilarious.

Great start to the series

It's kind of nice how things work in pretty much the same ways in all locker rooms, no matter if it's these multi-millionaires or if it's your local team.

That victory song made me nostalgic (****ing terrible song though, guess it's fun to have a singalong to it), that was almost the best part of a win.

As for the abscence of Timonen, I think players were given the choice if they wanted to be mic'd up. I can see him turning that down. If they had filmed during our trip to Anaheim, I'm sure we could have had some Finnish swear words overheard though.

As he is a Ranger, I hate Callahan, but man I would love to have him on our team.

Dubinsky is an ******* though. "He started it!" Ha.

With Bryzgalov and Hartnell on our team, we win the "Team with most interesting charachters" award easily.

Loved it last night, Bryz is on his own planet. His son seems like he could end up the same way. I enjoyed Talbot's part before the Pens game as well. Callahan might be one of my favorite players thats not a Flyer, his work ethic and style of play is great, it's a shame he's a Ranger and I might end up hating him.

Agreed 100%. Why is the title Flyers/rangers 24/7? We are the host? I knew this was going to happen f'en new york, just makes me hate them more. Flyers were definately the lesser showcased team.

Yeah interesting the big dancers in the room are Marshall, Rinaldo, and Zolnerchyk. Maybe get at least 30 game under your belt before you prime -time

Loved every minute of it. Bryz obviously was hilarious... the little smirk Lavi gave before Bryz went into his speech on the universe was particularly hilarious.

I thought Laviolette came across very, very well. Measured, intelligent, but definitely intense and passionate while not going overboard. Seems like pure class.

Callahan also seems pretty awesome. Can't help but continue to hate Avery though. It speaks volumes that his teammates are taking disadvantaged children to a show while he goes for his own modeling shoot. But I'm sure I'm lettting my personal bias get in the way.

I'm hoping the next episode has some more on JVR, Read, Bob, or Kimmo.

It was one episode. The show isn't meant to focus on Philadelphia or the Flyers. It's meant to focus on both of the teams.

Yeah HBO didn't want to show off the Flyers. That's why they did a whole hour special just on the history of the franchise 2 years ago.

Not going to lie, I was disappointed. I was hoping for more dialogue from the players among one another than with the camera. Any of those interviews with the camera really aren't giving us anything new, what was special about 24/7 before was the interaction amongst the players. It gave them human characteristics that we can all relate to and bring them to our level instead of these rich inaccessable athletes we see on tv.

One thing however that struck me was when Lavy was talking about Passion. He said that in hockey and in life, if you are not passionate about your endeavors you will never be successful.

As we have seen from last year the flyers god rid of some players who lacked that passion. Zherdev, Versteeg, others come to mind.

I like how both fanbases complain about the other team being the more showcased one.
