Ryan Rupert and Matt Rupert

Both are playing on a young London Knights squad that has a ton of offensive power this year and the twins are leading the way offensively. Both are gritty hard working forwards that have chemistry together and drive hard to the net.

They are both well over a point per game to start the season and if they keep up this pace they could put up some serious points.

Has anyone else had a chance to watch these guys yet this year?

Yes, I have. Ryan took a couple dumb penalties last night but other than that, they've been very good. They have been on Dane Fox's line whi is also 2012 eligibile (late '93, 3GP 3 G, 2A) and they all play the similar style - aggresive and physical, sometimes borderline dirty.

Matt Rupert has seen time on the point on the PP and has had a few points from that area. Ryan has played on the half boards on the off wing on the other PP unit but both are subject to change. Dale always mixes it up every week.

These two are the type of players that you need to make a run at the memorial cup.

Both are very gritty players although Ryan has better hands and a higher ceiling than Matt does.

It'd be easier to get an accurate read on the players if Dale Hunter kept linemates together for more than one game, but Ryan has impressed me on whatever line he's been on. Matt is more hit and miss for me. He had a good game against Sudbury on Friday, but my other viewings have been weak.

Both putting up PPG numbers on the top ranked team in the country right now. I've noticed that Hunter has been using them in all kinds of situations this year and they have been the reason why London has such a great powerplay.

There undersized but their work ethic and grittiness makes up for it in big ways. Two players definitely to keep a close eye on, they just keep improving.

Sounds like these guys should be Toronto bound.
Brian Burke loves physical, aggressive, boarder line dirty players. Apparently has a thing for twins as well.
