Unless the defense completely collapses, we should win this game.

Prediction: 4-0 Jets.

Goals: Postma, Wheeler, Ladd, Burmistrov

You know I look at that NJD roster and go, yah this is not a very good team. But then I remember they have somehow beaten the Kings TWICE already this season

I wonder if Mannino might get the start tomorrow, I would really hate to play a goalie 3 times in 4 nights.

Me too. Probably not the best for this team, on the road, with their injury woes, but at least we are playing well.

I HATE having to wait 2 or 3 days to see a game.

Go Jets... make Brodeur consider retirement tonight.

Every game I wish Little and Wheeler would bust out of their slumps, maybe today?

As you are well aware, the Kings aren't a very good team this season either

It's nice when your playing well like right now, when you cannot get a win to save your life it's pretty rough

The Devils have looked good at times, but what has stood out to me is how little chemistry Parise and Kovalchuk have together. For two world class players, they do not gel at all (althought they were slightly better when Adam Henrique centered them).

I actually think Kovalchuk being out tonight makes them better because Parise can play his game the way he wants.

I'm actually not too worried about the D-pairings.

The thing I was worried about was whether Antropov was playing. With him gone, I could see a lot of our offense collapsing, but everyone is reporting he's in.

Also happy to see former Bulldog Maxwell will be playing tonight.

Seriously though, I haven't followed the West as closely as I usually do with us being in the East.

They are in a slump right now, but they are easily among the best in the league, IMO. But we are OT, if you want to take it to "Around the League", I will certainly discuss it further

If Stuart can go why not dress 7 defence man.

Nordique Nation will attend the game (hope they cheer for the Jets)

Not just Kovy is out for the Devils, also out:

Travis Zajac (1st line player)
Jacob Josefson (2nd line player)
Andy Greene (best D-Man production-wise)

Barring some sort of collapse, we should win this one.

3-2 Jets

Jets Goals:
Antro
Kane
Buff
Postma with an assist.

Devils Goals:
Hedberg x Two.

To be honest I give huge credit to Duke, atlthrasher344 and the others who have stuck with us here, I know I could not stay with PHO when Jets 1.0 left. So very well done Thrasher guys(and girls), you are much appreciated here!!

Barring a collapse we should win? got the Tony Robbins glasses on or what?

we can definitely win but we are banged up and in the other teams building so at best this is a 50-50 game IMHO. we need a big game from Pav's again to come out on top

It's going to be interesting to watch the defense play tonight. Less turnovers and the same willingness to block shots and we should be fine.

Yes, I don't know how they do it. Their insights into the history of the team are definitely appreciated. Hopefully they will be able to see their team when it's down south.

Anyone remember they used to broadcast the radio play by play of Coyotes games on OB'?? for a few years after the Jets left.

Thought it was classy of OB' to hire Dan Kamal to follow the Jets on the road and give commentary. Find Kamal and Moore better than anyone on TSN 1290.

Kudo's to the Thrashers fans who still follow the team (Duke has proven us wrong on more than one occasion in terms of players)

100% agree.... I couldn't even watch the NHL when we lost 1.0......it took years to get back into it and even then it was half a55ed at best. Olympics and world juniors was the only place I could really get into it

I hold zero Ill will to those that can't cope and am thrilled with those that are bigger than I and have soldiered on

LOL at that pic of Ladd and Stapes high-fiving. Stapleton is 3 apples tall.

Aside from the obvious issues with injuries to our D, I'm liking the lineup listed:
- Burmi-Antro-Kane listed as first line - not sure if this is the first time it's shown up as this but they are clearly the top line now.
- Wellwood with Ladd and Little - I like this combo, let's get Little kickstarted!
- GST line listed as 3rd line - most consistent performers this season, well deserved.
- Wheeler on 4th line - I really do think he's going to be much better at some point in the season, hopefully soon, but he needs the kick in the ass. Hope for the same turnaround as Kane.
- Maxwell in - Good move. Step up from McArdle. Will he be taking faceoffs? I though he was doing better in that department than Stapleton.
- Stuart back on D - please be true! While our call-ups played well enough last game, the 2nd period was a nightmare and Pavs absolutely saved the game there. We need more stability in the back, Stuart in would go a long way in helping there.

Feeling optimistic, predicting 3-2 Jets in regulation. Bogosian, Antropov, Ladd with goals.
