Didn't they say it was because he fought 2 times during the same stoppage on RDS ?

Blunden gave the hit. Nokelainen (and Sauer) got tossed for fighting after a fight was already going on.

Great hit by the way. Clean.

Pretty sure it's because they were the 2nd fight.

It was Blunden that hit him. Both Sauer and Nokelainen got ejected for fighting twice on the same shift.

No... it was because of the fight.

Blunden made the hit and got an interference penalty (which is ********), not Nokelianen. Nokelainen faught Sauer, both got game misconducts I think.

I think they said he was the third man in.. I'm not sure though. Oh my bad, it's because it was the second fight.

The hit itself was clean. The circumstances were not. Blunden just jumped onto the ice. No one was replacing him. Just jumped on and blindsided Dubinsky. It was a good call on the hit.

Thread title needs to be revised.

It should be: Blunden clean hit, followed by whole Rangers team jumping him.

A bit surprised they didn't toss Blunden for that hit. Guy replacing him was nowhere near the bench. He just jumped onto the ice to blindside Dubinsky.
Blindsiding someone by cutting in front of them while they have the puck? That's just Dubinsky not keeping his head up. It wasn't even a headshot.

That was not blindsiding. Ask Wolski what he thinks of the hit.

Total screwjob here, how that turned into a 5 on 3 for NYR is baffling.
