Also, I think Steve's call of the winner was the first time I've heard his voice crack.

Palmieri is coming along, things started to work much better once he got other linemates. He was the player driving the net and drawing the penalty at the end of the game.

The PP looks very good, I'm watching the rerun now. Elias is talking about a minute with Tallinder before the 4 on 3 in the OT and that PP is damn good.

Although Henrique was a shining star, this was really a team effort. Very Devils-like victory.

The shift at the second Jets goal was really messy, they were stuck in their zone for a long while. And you do not often see a player stop playing before play is dead and waiving with his arms to the ref instead. I don't want to see a Devils player do that again, it's BS. Players play the game and the ref is reffing the game.

I know I mentioned this earlier, but I want to say it again.

While Larsson had some bad turnovers, he made one play in the corner in the D zone that I don't think a D man on this team since Niedermayer could have made. Wedged his way passed Little, fought him and another guy off, picked up the puck with one hand on his stick while being checked by two guys, STICKHANDLED with ONE HAND while still being checked, then managed to make a breakout pass with still just one hand on the stick. The kid is going to be so good.

After Kane got his hooking call, Chico said "The Refs are doing a great job being consistent." Then he explains how there was no call for Volchenkov but there was on Kane for the same kind of play. I had to mute him. I love his own personal form of retardation, but only when the game isn't immediately on the line.

Actually thought Chico was being sarcastically subtle.

I considered that too but I dunno it didn't seem that way. It looked like he made a mistake and just flubbed it.

I got a huge kick out of Henrique catching (and correcting) himself in the post game interview, when Deb asked him about playing in front of Brodeur...

He called him "one of the best goalies in the world", stopped quickly, smiled, then said "I mean Marty is THE best goalie in the world..."

The kid just gets it.

I'm still uploading the Henrique OT winner, but in the meantime, i have already uploaded the two other goals scored in the game.

http://www.youtube.com/user/feerlessleadr

Check back in a half hour or so and the Henrique OT goal should be up too.

Love Chico's "WAAHHHHHHHHH!" at 15 seconds. To be fair, I flipped the **** out after every one of our goals tonight (and after their second). My voice is still slightly shot. Haven't been that pumped over a regular season game in a while.

What a subtle little play by Larsson to not only break up the play on a deflected puck, but to see the short pass to Parise on the backhand. Very impressive heads up, poised play.

Then Henrique drops every single hockey cliche in the course of one interview.

Thought Larsson had a real strong game last night. Some great breakout passes even though he also had one or two turnovers (I can forgive him for that) . Also played real tidy around the boards, made some important plays to get the puck out. Better positional play aswell today. Overall it was a good performance by him, seems to play quite well with Salvador too.

Henrique, well there aren't enough words to describe his play last night. Was so pumped when he scored the OT winner.
