His terrible pinch led to the second Rangers goal. Totally unnecessary too. Not to mention all the mindblowing mistakes he's been making with the puck the past few games.

I'd like to see how he does playing forward once our injury woes clear up.

He was solely responsible for giving up the 2nd goal. A horrible pinch when 3 forwards are stuck deep.

In all seriousness, this will likely happen if he keeps playing like he doesn't care. The fans will not sit back and let that go unoticed.

I would gladly participate. He plays with not a care in the world.

Oh, ok. That's what I was missing, I thought that was Mark Flood.

I was never here.

Buffoon will hear a lot of BOO Birds if his poor play continues in the Peg.

I think Noel really needs to restrict Buff from roaming the O-zone. It's really not helping us. Problem is he's terrible defensively so it's pretty much a lose-lose situation.

Byfuglien needs to be played as a forward, it's the only scenario that makes sense for us. Once Hainsey and Enstrom come back I hope Noel tries it out.

Problem is, he's gone on record stating he doesn't want to play forward. So then what? Make him the new 5.5 mil/yr equipment manager?

Well too bad for him, he has bosses. His coach and GM tell him what the **** to do and he has to do. What, do you think any other team wants him right now? If he has that sort of attitude he will be playing in the KHL next season.

If we have the management and coaching we think we have Byfuglien's unwillingness to play as a forward probably won't matter.

If he wants to play as a d-man he should be able to defend. What Buff wants to do is roam the offensive zone, you might as well just put him at forward if that's all he can contribute.

Maybe we should tell Byfuglien he's playing D and just put Stuart or something on the wing. Then Stuart can play D and Buf can keep playing his defence/forward hybrid style (which is awful by the way).

As for the bolded, why haven't they done it already then?

They had 7-D today. Wouldn't that be the perfect opportunity?

How much longer do we allow them to change it before we start questioning them?

Buff' made a really bad pinch (again). So far his play has been "high risk, low reward".

But let's not give others a pass here. The Jets were down 1-0 on the road so they were starting to take chances. They are not going to win or tie without scoring a goal. Ladd, Little and Wheeler have provided very little positive so far, and Ladd took two straight minors at a crucial stage in the second period (one leading to the Rangers' only goal until late in the third).

Burmi was very good again, and was probably the most physical Jet. I liked Kane again - playing fast and with a bit of sandpaper. Bogo was very solid on defence. I think he had around 30 min of ice-time. I am liking what I see of these three youngsters.

Ladd has been bad these last couple of games. Seems to be fighting the puck all the time. His best game this road trip was the Florida game where he beat up Skille. I don't know what's going on with him.
