Rinaldo on the receiving end of a textbook board last night, and the refs look the other way. If the roles were reversed and he threw the hit, it would have been a major, game, and under review by Shanny.

All plays/games are reviewed regardless of whether or not a penalty was called.
Rinaldo taking some more hit's as of late, I'll take it as him getting a taste of his own medicine. He gets right back up and seems to be a good sport about it, that I like.

Yeah I know it doesn't have to be a penalty to be reviewed, just meant he would have given it a serious look had Rinaldo thrown the hit. I'm sure Hanzal's (think it was Hanzal) board got about as much of a look as a Matt Carle body check.
I'd like him to increase his skillset, then come back.
I can understand this point. I think Rinaldo has been fun to watch, his hits are monstrous. Now if the Club wants to keep him for a couple of years, working on some areas might not be a bad thing, as no one questions his physicality his brings for this team. If he can improve certain areas of his game and it's believed the AHL could help in pursuit of that then I'm all for it.
BTW..they edited the last part of Jagr's statement....."and Shelley juggled some pucks in the locker room complete with Bozo nose and clown shoes."
Quote:
Two things turned this game around: A goal from Max Talbot with one tick left in the first period and the Flyers behind by three, then a fight at the buzzer right after that by Zac Rinaldo.
“The last second of the first period was the key,” said Jaromir Jagr. “We scored a goal and Zac had a fight.”
