Primary Target

Phil Kessel, he's survived cancer, he's survived being picked last in the All-Star draft, but can he survive Toronto? So far, he's doing just fine, leading his team to a surprising start.

Red Hot Cat Of The Night

Tomas Fleischmann, who remains scorching red hot with 9 points during a 7 game points streak.

Awesome GDT as always PR! However, I expected the Craig Anderson "I'm a Panther, I'm a Maple Leaf" video in there as well. It's just not the same without it.

Important game tonight! We need to go out there and take advantage of our PP tonight and put pressure on the monster. Their team is definately weakend by reimer being out, and I hope the guys are fired up after 3 straight OT/SO losses. Hope Matthias and bergy can bump down sturm and goc on the 4th line tonight, Id love those two and skille together.

GO CATS GO!!!!!!

I'm disappointed that Guds will be sitting out AGAIN. Let Weaver sit so Kuli can be paired with Ellerby. They were pretty good last year. With Weaver out Guds goes back to being paired with Jovo. Let the kid play!

The outcome of the game is very simple how many of our defensive errors will end up in the back of our net. We will take care of the offense but i have yet to see a flawless defensive game.

Lets get the win tonight boys.

I actually met the guy who played 'Biff.' Incredibly funny, a joy to be around, it was great.

60 minutes of hockey, please.

We need to beat the Leafs because I expect we'll be battling with them this year for the final playoff spots at the end of the year. They're not as good as they've been. Kessel probably won't continue at this pace. Especially tonight with Gustavsson in net, we need to beat them, preferably in regulation.

Lines are guaranteed.

Guds is sitting; Goldie said on his Twitter page that we're going with the same lineup of the last couple of games.

I'm so nervous!! C'MON CATS!!!!

That being said- I've been in attendance for some fantastic Panther wins (the 8-0 trouncing a few years ago, the infamous McCabe OT winner...)

I have no idea what to expect. The Leafs were embarassed on Saturday. They're going to be looking to prove themselves against a "weaker" team. And with the Panthers having problems of their own, I'm really at a loss.

But, the Cats have played well on the road. Losing to TB like that hopefully woke them up, and we'll see a great game tonight between two teams looking to regain redemption.

I'm just hoping for a good game, with a favourable score at the end

But I think this is a huge chance for the Panthers to show the Toronto media they're a different team.

Disappointed that Guds is out- I was looking forward to seeing him play in person. Guess I'll have to hope that in the winter he's here when the Cats are back.

I'm looking for a convincing win tonight. No down by 2 after 5 mins or tie at the end. Let's see something like a 6-2.

Watch tonight as Skille finally has a big night. It's really hard to believe that he only has 2 points so far with how many chances he creates.

GO PANTHERS!

For everyone ripping on kuli for not shooting enough

Kulikov started a bit slowly this season, but now has 9 points, all assists, in 13 games. If his progression from Year 1 to Year 2, where he jumped from 16 to 26 points, is any indication, he could be in store for some big gains this season.

He has seen his points per game go up from 0.23 to 0.36 to a hearty 0.69 this season, which has him on pace for 57. He has launched 23 shots on goal, which has him on pace for a career high 145.
