Well you'd have to wait until 2013 anyways. USA is winning the gold this year.

Tallon sent hubs back to the Q because he didn't want the kid too suffer any injuries going against the 220+ pound defensemen in nhl. Kid goes down and averages 2 points a game. Kid breaks a bone in his foot during a practice. Typical Panther luck.

Excuse me, I stand corrected. I'm well aware that there is, in fact, a difference.

You were a podiatrist?

Based on the last thing he said I would guess a proctologist

any word on the seriousness of the injury? im guessing its no big deal if they expect him back within a month, but it'd be nice to confirm it isnt anything that will affect his career.

Disappointing for him as he has been scoring loads of points this season. Not expected to be pout for very long so I doubt it will have much of a effect on anything in the long term. If anything all it will show us is how important he is to his team at the moment and it will give him the experience of missing a bit of time mid season and being expected to come straight back in perform.

Correct - but many are still hopeful he'll suit up for Canada, which would be a great way for him to get back in the saddle! Throw him into the fire!

I hope hes back for the wjc, since the panthers are not coming to Calgary this year, this is the next closest thing. I can't wait till the wjc to start, I'm supposed to get my tickets in the next couple of days!

BTW, I saw a TV show on RDS last night with Stéphane Leroux.

For those who don't know about him, he is the guy following the Q for like 10+ years at RDS and he is one of their (only) best journalist. He was on a talk-show speaking about the declining number of goalies from Québec in the last 10 years. They went on to talk about Team Canada Junior after that...

Well in the end, all of this to tell you that Leroux said Huberdeau "was about" to return.

So I wouldn't expect another game in the Q before Christmas, but I expect him to be healthy by the WJC !

Nice...
