"There's a lot of character here. We have guys that never quit and there are a lot of veterans that have been here before and know what expect and are helping out the younger guys...just being leaders. So there's a ton of character in the room and it seems like whenever we are down we're coming back so that's a good sign."
"I’m pretty excited for it. It was a great place to play and my wife and I met a lot of good people over the years there. It should be fun."
"I’m looking forward to having a quick chat with a lot of the guys. I played with a lot of them for a long time and we had some really good times there. I have nothing but good things to say about their organization."

"The onus is on the guys with the puck to find a way to beat something," Hitchcock said. "It’s not about embarrassing anybody. The reason Tampa is in that setup is that it was missing two very good defensemen who play heavy minutes, real heavy minutes, against top players. So, you protect your defensemen any way you want. You don’t want to be getting bogged down in your own zone, so that’s smart."
"To me you have to find a way to beat that," he said of the 1-3-1. "It’s kind of why (Tampa Bay) did it. They don’t do it to stall the game down, they do it to protect their defensemen. You’ve got to find a way to get it behind them, that’s my feeling. Our job is to get it behind them, get into their defensemen and see what we can do. But we’re not going to do that (Philly) tactic and we’re not interested in that tactic. I just feel the soul obligation is on the team with the puck."
hey guys looking forward to the game tonight. How's Brewer looked this season? He got a bad rap here (not necessarily unearned but still unfair the degree it got to here) and was wondering how he's doing in Tampa?
