Danny, i saved my 11,000th post to wish your nose well.

that looked vicious, lucic made a joke about paille looking like him now, so hopefully paille is in good spirits and will be able to play with a cage. depends if he can breathe or not i suppose. ill tell you one thing, i would have waited for life flight if that was me taking a puck to the face. these damn guys are so tough.

Did they say what happened. I saw the shot and all but didn't get any update on where the puck even hit. Any info would be great.

It happened right in front of us. There was so much blood it was hard to see but I believe he may have broken his nose. Poor kid. . He was having a good game.

One of the nicest guys I've ever met. Got the pleasure of meeting him when he brought the Cup home to Welland in the summer.

Get Well Soon Bud.

A couple of the players on the Isles were worried about him at the game. It was nice to see the concern for a player of the other team.

Hoping it's like the Stamkos thing last year and he is fine and would have been able to return if it was a playoff game

Did you get a look at his visor when they took his helmet off? It was covered in blood

TSN reported that he took the shot off the nose, not an eye injury as per Julien.

Yikes. Poor guy.

Pie is a trooper though. He'll come back strong.

Here's hoping he manages to sleep with that. Gotta be rough.

We love ya, Danny...

This guy won me over in a big way in the playoffs.

One of the guys who made having no PP almost irrelevant because he was a man on a mission on the pk.

Get well, Danny. We need you.

Paille is Bruins hockey. The team will miss him if he has to sit a few games. Hopefully he can breathe and play with a cage. Either way, get well soon.

(if he sits, does that mean we have to see more of Pouliot?)

According to Julien post game, Paille was to see a specialist. I hope he'll be OK.

This is a guy that gives 1000% every stride, every shift, every game.

Yet "stone-hands" is the pathetic, lemming-esque, tedious rejoinder invoked at every possible turn, when referring to Dan Paille's contributions to this team's success.

Christ.

Get well Dan.

Paille was a huge contributor in the cup win last year, his special team play and overall effort is a big part of the team. Get well soon.

Hope he gets better, Paille doesn't get nearly enough credit as he deserves. He silently brings 110% effort every game, and his contribution to defense, offense, and the PK is incredible, he's a very versatile player, and he's probably one of the nicest guys I've met.

Well that's one way to keep Pouliot in the lineup. I don't think he will, or should, try to play through that until it's at least had a few days to heal.
