Caps just played probably their best game of the season while rolling all 4 lines and only having 3 skaters go over 20:00.
Isles have lost 6 in a row.
Good guys take it 6-2. Top line with multi-point games again.

feel like the islanders will come out strong for this game, D needs to watch their speed.
Predicting a very close scoring game, 3-2 caps

The Islanders team certainly needs a win, but can they resist the fresh, smooth, radioactively potent taste of Chernobly?
I don't think so.

Will be at the game. First row. Look for six red/white jersies on TV. We got on CSN Washington last year before a commercial break, hopefully we can again.

your expected lines?
T-Bro1000 (
) should pretty obviously be back on the top line to do his thing, while semins skill is needed on L2.

Anxious to see if the eakin-mojo-semin line is kept and if they can develop more chemistry.

I say 5-2 Caps, Ovechkin finally gets a hat trick, 2ppg and 1 even strength.

Yeah, score two goals and call it a win. The Isles are having a rough time scoring goals. Only worry about JT, because no one else is doing anything. Okposo will get 3 golden opportunites but no worries, he'll flub it.
4-1 Caps. enjoy.

I'm just so damn happy for a back-to-back. Always feels like forever between games -- especially with those rich guys with the round orange puck squabbling about stuff.

I hope Brouwer will take Semins place on the first line, I really like how they played in the third period. Wasn't very impressed with 8-19-28 in the first two periods.

BB may have earned the benefit of my doubt with some of his in-game and roster moves this year. But scratching Red after his game last night? Doesn't seem logical to me...
I'll be the debbie downer here... Caps get tired, coming off a high, Isles always play them hard and that team speed can be tough. I'm going 4-2 NY, EN to seal it.
OV and Schultz.

Roster and lines are set to change by game time, but details still elusive. Eakin is out, but not much more is really clear. They're trying not to let too many guys on the shelf develop rust, and the team is largely healthy. Will update the OP nearer the drop of the puck when Carrera / Whyno post lines.
7-2 Caps

I expect to see Grabner blow by Hamrlik for a break away goal tonight.
However, we should take this one too. Keep rolling all 4 lines.

Disappointed they'd sit Cody after last night's effort.

TV always seems so uncomfortable. Both in net and in interviews, despite being very good at both things. It's pretty amusing.
