Hindsight. Unless you were saying that last year which I highly doubt

I really donít think the team respects BB. You canít be there friend and let them do whatever they want. And then one day expect the team to respect you. He has never been able to get the team up for a big game.

I have been *****ing for a few years now. And now we are to the point where we are going to start to lose players to the cap. We clearly missed OV best years. Now it looks like we will be losing Semin. We are two years late on making a change.

WHO? Anyone, when the team stops responding you have to make a change.

This is the dumbest post of the year. Those guys have consistently had more success than BB. You can look at a period of poor play and call it an abberation. With the Caps you look at bad play and you see what you've seen every April for 4 years.

Dont scare me like that. We only have Hammer for two years. The way he looks he may not be able to skate in four years.

Horrible game by the Caps. Dallas worked hard and deserved the win. This team needs a defensive leader. I had to remind myself this was a home game. Eakin needs to stay in the lineup. I don't expect to win every game or win every home game, but they need to at least show up. There will be no Stanley Cup with this defense playing like they did. Very disappointed with the Caps play tonight.

The PK is a mess too.

Goaltending has been shaky, IMO.

The 2nd line is out of sorts.

Team is a mess right now.

So the Caps lose a couple of games when their #1 defenseman is out of the line-up and with their goalies playing like **** and it's Boudreau's fault?

He's not getting fired. Deal with it.

They just look disorganized, especially on the defensive end. And I don't just mean tonight, they've looked this way for some time, even in some of their wins.

I look at Dallas and see a good, well coached team playing organized hockey.

bmcnally14: Mike Knuble just used the words clowns and losers after this one to describe his team's play. Get you context soon. He was pissed. #Caps.

Ted won't fire George and George won't fire Bruce. When the team fails, they just back up a bit more and run a little harder into the wall and expect different results.

This team should be blowing opponents away and show dominance regularly. Some nights they show brilliant play and others is like a hangover from a hard night. I'm starting to believe if the Caps skid for a few, GMGM might actually replace BB. Amazes me how we fail to clear the puck out our zone and look like dancing with the stars in our own end. Disorganized and confused is a perfect description.

Guess what? No team goes 82-0. They are going to have some off-games.

You honestly believe GMGM would fire Boudreau for losing a few games in a row? He didn't fire him last year when he lost 8 in a row. Or the past 2 seasons when they lost out of the playoffs.

"Inconsistency", as people like to call this, occurs in two scenarios. A very young team, which this is not anymore. Or poor preparation. I don't think BB gives a rat's behind who he is playing and thinks everything is about one on one battles. Hmmm, when teams pass the puck in circles around us or guys lose their coverages that's not a one on one battle, that's one team well prepared and the other not. The loss of Green just demonstrates that he needs a star to be able to get his team out of its own zone, and even with that star they struggle. But of course there are always excuses like we don't have puck movers. Well, Wideman, Carlson are puck movers. We will always look like poor puck movers with this man as coach. We have been through new defenders, new grit players, veterans, you name it. They all fit into the Bruce Budreau coached team mold nicely.
