er ehmmmm

I like a large coffee. Will a Keurig machine brew me a large coffee with good body + strength or does it only do whimpy little cups? I want to pop in a k cup and throw a travel mug under and bolt to work in 72.8 seconds.

T-fal or Bosch/Tassimo better than Keurig?

I love coffee! I don't own a Keurig machine but my sister-in-law did and I was always annoyed by those little cups of coffee whenever I stay over their house.

I'd don't really know but I would assume the cup size is limited by those little cups and those cups are standard I believe?

We have a Keurig and Tony uses his travel mug all the time to brew and it really depends on the brand if you want a strong flavor. Our Keurig can brew in 5 different sizes. The one here at work can do 3 different sizes (go with the 5 - more expensive, but I feel that the cup sizes on the 5 are better than the 3).

The Green Mountain Dark Magic is his favorite. Strong flavor. You can also buy an actual filter and use regular coffee in it so you don't have to buy the actual k-cups.

what about a french press? only takes a few minutes, and you can control the size and strength

The Keurig doesn't brew weak coffee unless you buy weak coffee. Plus it literally takes seconds.

The brew selections on ours at work is 6, 8, and 10 oz cups. Brew a cup twice to fill a travel mug?

The travel mug cup size is limited:

I can't wake up early and do the whole breakfast thing. I literally get up, brush, shower, dress, primp, and I'm out.

K cups will allow me to be the laziest I can be and make my grandkids proud that they (who will be 300lbs overweight and disgusting) had a grandfather who was so ahead of his time.

OUNCES :|

Sometimes I worry (bevy sometimes I worry a lot) about the travel mug even fitting in the assembly.

Yeah same here...but when you brew it twice it doesn't taste right.

Go with the bigger one!

4 oz., 6 oz., 8 oz., 10 oz. and 12 oz. brewing size

Exactly everything CJ just said. The Kuerig rocks, allows you to be lazy and brews in for you in seconds. I pop a K cup in, put 2 splendas in the coffee cup or mug, hit brew, put half and half in there, and it's ready to go. Dark Magic is definitely a favorite. I have pumpkin spice and hazelnut right now, which are good, but not as dark and bold as I like them. And the filter for your own coffee is a great little thing to have (especially if you get Kona Coffee from Hawaii!!)

If you're drinking more than 1 cup in the morning then it's not worth it, but that doesn't sound like you're doing that.

If you drink 1 a day it works out...and buy in BULK! For us brewing a whole pot doesn't make sense because I don't drink coffee.

Getting a $4 artsy fartsy drink is more expensive...and that drink sounds gross!

Yea I made it up.

GF drinks mainly tea, I also like my tea. She does NOT drink coffee. I like coffee.

Tea is for after supper. Coffee for the morning.

I'm a tea drinker..it's NOT worth it to buy the tea for the Keurig. Just the coffee.

good to know. Is it just not good? I suppose not. Tea should be steeped in a teapot. None of this teabag in the actual cup nonsense or pouring hot water over it.

Anyways, gf is buying me a Keurig for christmas. Now I need to think of something equally awesome to give her

It's not worth the money. Tea bags are so cheap so the k-cups just don't make sense.

Well I do the teabag in a cup in the morning because it's easier and I only need 1 cup, but when I want a specialty tea I use my little steeping pot (thanks Cowbell)!

Well make sure she gets the bigger one..the 5 different size one. I promise it's worth the money. So you'll need to spend roughly $200 on her.

Lol..that's the way my wife drinks it..EVERYDAY!!

Although we do have a "steeper", but that's for when we're not being lazy!
