NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Great GDT! Gonna be a tough game - Sabres are playing well this year. Any confirmation that Antro will be back tonight?

Let's hope we are a little more discipline. I was almost off my seat when Oduya was making good PK plays and it was scary.

Vanek-Adam-Pominville have been together most of the year, and been the Sabres' best line. Just the way the chemistry developed out of camp.

Most of the Sabres' other lines have struggled to produce points, though Leino-Roy-Stafford finally looked good in the last game.

Glad to have you back in the NHL, Winnipeg.

Great GDT as usual.
Not really feeling us tonight, end of a long road trip coming off a sub-par performance I think we might be in for a long night. Hopefully in Antro is back we can use that to gain a little momentum. I think 5-2 Buffalo is what we're looking at. But like every time I pick against the Jets I hope I'm wrong.

This should be interesting - Buffalo's #1 PK against the Jets anemic PP

Hopefully Antropov starts tonight, and it wouldn't hurt to have Hainsey back either.

I haven't seen the Sabres play yet this season; I wonder what the strategy should be tonight? I don't think the Jets can skate with the Sabres; game seven of a long road trip will be taking it's toll on the team. I guess it's going to be an ugly keep-it-low-and-slow road game, with the emphasis on Pavelec stopping everything, and the Jets getting opportunistic.

The coaches have to contain Byfuglien's wanderlust - the Sabres have some speedy forwards who will burn him on bad pinches. It's obvious that Enstrom leaves a huge hole to fill - he seems to be the best pairing for Big Buff, as he appears to know when he should be holding back on the rush, ready to cover should Byfuglien take off up the ice.

The Jets need a huge effort from Ladd-Little-Wheeler, the so-called number one line - Antropov is close to outscoring the three of them combined.

I expect to see a yeoman effort from the GST line tonight. They need to be in Vanek's and Pominville's faces all game long. I don't think they can take Leino off his game, but they should be able to mess with Pominville and Vanek.

Who's starting for the Sabres in net do you think? Enroth or Miller?

Overall, this road trip has been a success. I think we pull out a win tonight and play a great road game to finish up this 7 game road swing.

It's the last road game of our longest trip of the season, they'll show up and play well to finish it off on a high note.

Buffalo has great team defense... could be another shutout for the Jets.

Likely a low scoring game either way.

I predict a bounce back. Two relatively "flat" games previous to this one, but: Antro is back, Stuart is back, they've had a day of rest, and it's the last game of a road trip - I get the feeling they'll come out hard tonight, and put in a good effort. I predict 3-2 Jets.

I don't expect a win. I'm not even sure I expect us to compete tonight, so if either happens, I will be pleasantly surprised.

3-1 Jets. 1 PPG and 1 A for Byfuglien and an empty netter by Burmistrov.

I'm looking for some improvement in their overall play, for example:
When at even strength and the opposition applies some offensive pressure, don't treat it like a PK and back off and allow their DMan to stand back there and fire bombs while we attempt only to block them...not prevent them.
On a PP, put a big body in front of their goal and stay there as long as a potential shot is coming
Gap control, don't back up and allow them to free wheel in the neutral zone.

I expect a bounce back performance from the Jets after getting shut out, but I doubt we beat the high flying Sabres.

2-1 Sabres.

This is probably the best team the Jets have played against all road trip. To me, this is all about Wheeler, Little and Ladd getting some sort of offence going...I mean if Little and Wheeler return to Winnipeg having done near nothing on this 7 game road trip, how long until the boo-birds come out? The Jets really, really, really need some sort of scoring from these three. The "supporting cast" needs it too.
GO JETS GO.

Noel now splits up GST.

Glass-Slater-Wellwood.

Thor off the line. Really Noel. Your most consistent line you separate, does he not understand Slater and Thor create such chemistry because of how long they've been together. This is just like last year when Thor had to move to another line when Slater went down with injury. Case in point, if they are healthy YOU PLAY THEM TOGETHER.

Not a fan of this change.

Ladd, Little and Wheeler are together again. Here's the defensive pairings:

Oduya - Byfuglien
Stuart - Bogosian
Festerling - Flood

Sounds like Postma has been scratched.

Here's a stat I just came up with showing how competitive the Jets have been so far. If you define a "winnable" game as one in which you were within 1 goal at some point in the third period (or better than that), by my count the Jets have had 13 winnable games out of 14 so far (the lone exception being Phoenix).

Thanks alot, I had just copied what the "current lines" had on the main boards, this makes way more sense than what I had. Did not think Leino would be in the middle.

And I updated the Jets lines with what TSN has predicted.
