we are stuck.

Nobody in Bridgeport can make the NYI top six forwards score more. Nobody can play 20min per night on defense, against the opposing team's top line.

None of our prospects in Bridgeport are good enough to make a difference at the NHL level, especially not in the top six. We need scoring from the forwards and good defensemen that can eat up minutes and be effective against other teams' top lines.

Hardly something you can expect to add mid-season, from the AHL no less.

If we see any call-ups it'll be just to shake things up, to send a pointless message.
And if so, it'll likely be Ullstrom from the forwards and probably Reese on defense.

Judging from the posts from IslesEnforcer, NYI78, Sneekypeete (a couple others, I forget) that have watched Bridgeport play, the defense has been horrible - even worse than what we've seen in the NHL.

Niederreiter's 19, he has yet to score a goal in the AHL, so I wouldn't expect him to tear things up - but he HAS to come up after his two weeks are done.

As I said since Sept - this will be another long season.
Why not send Nino to Portland? Let him continue to grow and dominate. Remember, Bailey made the team got hurt and then stuck. He's been stuck since. Do the right thing for once and send him down. Even if it hurts his feelings. This then opens a spot for someone deserving. You have another spot open when we finally trade Nabokov for a case of Grey Goose.

He should be back in Portland, but I'm pretty certain the Isles need his cap hit to reach the floor. It's very upsetting that is one of the reasons why he's made the team. He certainly didn't look good during training camp.

Haha, sorry I just realized I left Mouslon off there.

Um, maybe Nielsen off for Moulson then?
