Sit/Start Week 10

I will start this week off. PPR League. This is how my lineup looks right now:

QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Mike Wallace, Vincent Jackson
RB: Arian Foster, Fred Jackson
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
Flex: ?
Def: San Diego
K: Billy Cundiff

For my flex spot its between Jeremy Maclin and Ryan Mathews. I'm thinking Maclin because Arizona gives up a ton of yards through the air. Oakland is bad against the run too I just don't know how much they are going to use Mathews this week after the injury. What do you think?

I typically prefer starting RBs to WRs when it's a close decision, but I'd go Maclin here. AZ has gotten absolutely lit up this year by the elite receivers. Steve Smith - 8, 178, 2. Nicks - 10, 162, 1. Wallace - 3, 118, 1. Antonio Brown - 7, 102. Boldin - 7, 145. You get the idea. Always some concern with Mathews not being 100% and Tolbert taking some of his opportunities. Mathews reportedly put in a full practice today, but I think Maclin's still the safer play.

Deep league, three flex spots. Do I start McCluster (against DEN) or Woodhead against my NYJ?

Lineup as it currently stands:

QB Fitzpatrick
WR Rice, Crabtree
RB Wells
TE Finley
W/T J. Baldwin
W/R McGahee
W/R/T McCluster

BN: Woodhead, D. Alexander, Hillis, LaFell

Next to nothing on the FA list. A. Caldwell, L. Hawkins, Cadillac, Dezmon Briscoe, Ricky Williams, a bunch of other crap. Chris Ivory is intriguing but that's it.

Sidney Rice or Percy Harvin?

Jackie Battle or Roy Helu?
(And to think I started the year with Charles, McFadden and Felix Jones and I'm down to this )

Struggling here with this Decision. Sit/Start

Eli M. Vs. the Niners (2nd rank D) They will shut down the already limited Giants Run Game so a majority is going to be through the air which could be really good or really bad

OR

Stafford vs Bears (ranked 3rd or 4th D I believe) Very aggresive D line. Lions RB position is very limited right now so mostly through the air probably to Megatron or Petti.

Bears D have 9 Int on the season while the 49ers are at 10

Feel free to voice some opinions. I am struggling so far on this one.

Non PPR league. I need to pick 2 WR & a Flex

David Nelson vs Dal
Mike Williams (tb) vs Hou
Nate Washington vs Car
Brandon Pettigrew vs Chi
Torrey Smith vs Sea

Megatron is my other WR which could limit Pettigrew. J. Graham is my starting TE.

Personally I like Stafford better than Eli this week.

I don't know how I fell into this situation, but I have 5 starting RBs to choose from for 2 spots and a flex:

Adrian Peterson (starting, obv), Cedric Benson (PIT), Michael Bush (@SD), Pierre Thomas (@ATL), DeAngelo Williams (TEN).

Also, FWIW, my WRs: Steve Smith (Carolina), Jordy Nelson (MIN), Percy Harvin (@GB), David Nelson (@DAL). Starting the first two, and don't think I like Harvin or Nelson's matchups to start them over one of the other RBs.

One more: Pettigrew (@CHI) vs. Olsen (TEN). Olsen has been the better player, but Pettigrew has the better matchup.

Huge week for me as I'm sitting at 5-4 and 6 out of 12 based on tiebreakers. I missed a crucial chance to pick up a W last week with half my team on a bye vs. a very good team, but ended up losing 111-113. My opponent is my brother who sits at 7th also at 5-4. It's a money league, and I can't let that ******* win again.

I'm in a bit of a bind here. Pick one for each position.

QB:
Matt Ryan- vs. New Orleans
Matt Stafford- @ Chicago

RB:
Mike Tolbert- @ Oakland
Rashard Mendenhall- @ Cincinnatti

I would go Megatron, Smith and Nelson.
Wash may not be 100% with his bruised hip and if it is targeted could leave the game early.

Just my opinion.

I would go with Ryan and Tolbert.
Tolbert as Oakland showed some serious holes in their running defence.
Ryan as Stafford is playing a good Chicago defence.

I would go with Bush Helu or Battle.
Jacobs is playing the 9ers who have a solid D
Helu hasnt been running much on the ground but had a great receiving game.
Miami, Wash and Den arent doing to well Defensively.

Wow that's rough. I think of the two I'd lean McCluster. That being said, I'd definitely start Ivory over both of them, so I'd try to pick him up.

I know Harvin has the better matchup but I'd still go with Rice. Harvin's been very disappointing this year. I know everyone's terrified of Shanahan RBs, but I think Helu's legit. Miami and Denver are pretty similar in terms of their run D, so I'm gonna go with Helu here due to the fact that he's so much more of a receiving threat.

I think you gotta go Stafford here. The pass D's are virtually identical. I'm gonna go with the guy who's been more productive this year.

I don't like starting two guys from the same team when it's a toss-up between them and someone else, plus Pettigrew hasn't been great lately, so I'd sit him. Nate Washington's been pretty disappointing since Britt got hurt, so I'd sit him too. I'd go Nelson, Williams, and Smith.

SF has given up exactly zero rushing TDs this year. I'm not completely sold on them yet, but that's still a very impressive stat. PPR I think you'd go Helu and Bush, but non-PPR I'd go Helu and Battle.

Bush is the first guy I'd start on that list (aside from AP). Benson would be next, but I don't love the matchup. As for your receivers I'd definitely go Smith and Jordy. While I don't see Benson having a great day, he's a better start than Harvin or David Nelson.

Olsen's outproduced him for most of the year so I think you gotta go with him.

I'd definitely go Stafford. Ryan just hasn't been good this year (in terms of fantasy). Mendenhall's been disappointing, and the Bengals have a real solid run D (and Oakland's is terrible), so even though Mathews is probable I still think I'd lean Tolbert here.

Moore's too inconsistent for my taste. Granted Torrey is too, but his upside is considerably higher.

Schaub (at Bucs) or Fitzpatrick (at Cowboys).

I'm leaning towards Fitzpatrick since AJ will be out of the lineup again and they are probably going to run the ball all day long with Foster and Tate like they did last week, especially on the road.

I just dropped Daniel Thomas for Ben Tate. Should I start Tate instead of Mendenhall as my RB2, who's playing against the 2nd best team versus the run in Cincinnati?

QB: Roethlisberger , Cutler
RB: Rice, Tolbert, Wells, Helu, Ringer, D. Williams
WR: Jennings, Wallace, V Jackson, B Lloyd, Decker, N. Washington
TE: Finley
K: Kasay
D: Cincy

All the bold are my starters, I need help picking my flex, really it's a toss up between Vincent Jackson & Brandon Lloyd. Normally I'd say easy call and go Jackson, but I follow Fantasy Guru and they are normally very reliable, and they are projecting Lloyd as the # 3 WR this week, V Jackson as # 9.

If AJ goes, then no question Schaub. Even if he doesn't, I think I lean towards Schaub, I always like the team that I know is going to put up points when the matchups are close like this. I don't think either way is a bad decision though.

As far as RB goes that's a tough call, Fantasy Guru has Mendy 18, and Tate at 34- but the Bucs gave up a lot of yards on the ground last week against the Saints, and it would've been worse if not for some bad calls.

I like lloyd as an option. Since he has been traded to the Rams he is seeing a ton of passes and is def their #1 wr right now. It is only going to be a matter of time until he puts up a solid game.

That being said: (lloyd) he's someone to avoid this week against CB Joe Haden and the Browns. Just one opponent's No. 1 wideout has scored in double digits against them since Week 1.

V.Jackson is playing the Raiders who may of concentrated on their Running game defence after being full of holes that last game...so that could be a plus for a air attack for SD.

I would start Jackson but that is just my opinion.

Thoughts on trading V Jackson for Darren McFadden...I'd probably have to add a little as RBs are like gold in this league, but if I could get an upgrade on Tolbert my roster would be set for the season, he's the weekest link in my top 5
