Not a bad return. As I said in the other thread, possible sign that Crosby is coming back this Friday?

Best of luck to him!

Stinks to see him go but...the return of Jeffery and Sid then the play of Park and Vitale sort of made him the odd man out.

I think he should get some decent minutes in Columbus.

Fare well Test Tube!

It's about what I expected the Pens would be able to get for him. He was obviously the odd man out, and with him having to pass through waivers before being able to play in the AHL, something had to be done.

Wonder if he went to the retreat?

Also, Jeffrey and MacIntyre were sent to WBS for conditioning as well. What does that even mean? http://penguins.nhl.com/club/news.ht...id=DL|PIT|home

Good for him. He should get minutes there to hopefully turn it around.

He sure didn't do himself a single favor this season.

Well, doesn't that leave us with only 11 forwards for Friday?

Pretty sad to watch him go from useful tweener who played it smart to completely invisible.

Not surprised that he has been moved on, potentially signalling that Crosby is looking to come off LTIR soon? Decent return for him I reckon and he'll do well at Columbus who are looking for Gritty players to get down and dirty and dig them out of the hole they're in.

Showed flashes of being a decent NHL player last year, but no consistency.

Should find a bottom 6 role in Columbus...helps ease our "numbers game"

The way Columbus is playing so far, the 4th rounder might be a pretty high pick. Extra nice to see more picks considering where the 2012 draft is being held

Good luck to Letestu. He carved himself a NHL career with his work ethic but he just was always going to be hard to fit into the current lineup because of the game he plays.

So with Columbus doing as bad as they are, does this mean that the 4th round pick is as good as a late 3rd round pick this year?

I'm almost thinking the Pens are expecting a certain someone back this week.

Good luck to him. Seems like someone certainly will be back Friday. Possibly a full deck even?

I'm fine with this. Our center depth is absurd and with Park and Vitale playing the way they are, Letestu just doesn't have a spot here anymore.

Not far from being a late third.

Columbus will be the worst team in the NHL.

I personally think this is the start of a complete blowup in Columbus.

Other than Brassard/Vermette, what realistic trade pieces does Columbus have?

I highly doubt they're moving Carter, Nash, RJ or Johansen.
