So...

Neal-Malkin-Sullivan
Kunitz-Staal-Dupuis
Asham-Park-Cooke
Asham-Vitale-

That leaves us a forward down?? Maybe what we are all hoping is true. Both Jeffery & Big Mac can be brought right back up though.

I highly doubt they're moving Carter, Nash, RJ or Johansen.
I think at this point, Columbus would listen to offers for any player they have aside from Nash.

I would personally even listen to deals for Nash.

Great return.

Also makes me happy that I won't have to read any more posts about him being a good player. He sucks. At least gives Jeffrey more ice time.

With that said, I fully expect Malkin, Staal, and Vitale to all go down with injuries this week, making Shero wish he kept Letestu for another month.

And now we witness Letestu turn it all around and start tearing ***** up, winning art, rocket, hart and the norriezina trophy, the trophy they will create in his honour.

Seriously though - Fair trade, good for him. He was obviously outmatched amongst the other players. Something tells me that Shero might not be done though. (Just a feeling)

I mean... it's not good v alue because Letestu was struggling, but is anyone going to argue? This 4th round can help us at the deadline or just help us fill out prospect pool.

I'm fine w/ it. My trust is in Shero. It looks like Vitale is just out-playing Mark and Shero will go with whomever.

According to Yahoo! both Mac and Jeffrey are being paid their NHL salaries while in the A, and are gonna be recalled for Friday's game.

Jeffrey is gonna take the last spot. On the other hand, it would be funny if TK comes back from his concussion after like a week, while Penguin nation is all up in arms about Sid still being held out.

Also, you ment to write Adams for the 4th line LW.

I wouldn't be surpised if Pahlsson hits the waiver wire.

He's a good guy, hopefully he finds a spot in their top-9 and they stop completely sucking.

Yes I did. Well at least we get to see more of Jeffreys. Big Mac is pretty useless so when Sid or Kennedy come back I hope he is gone.

I would make anyone available except Johansen. Note, available doesn't mean I'd accept three dimes on the dollar.

Considering the pick is going to be somewhere in the range of 91-95 (hard to imagine it not being #91 right now) it's hard to complain about the return for a guy who really hasn't done anything since last November.

I really hope Letestu is able to carve a more permanent niche in Columbus. He's a hard guy not to root for, but he's just not better than what we have right now.

CBJ needed to do Letestu deal now. PIT has wings who can fill in at C until Jeffrey returns next week. If Sid comes back Fri or Tues, great

PIT didn't make Letestu deal for Crosby return. Truth is Pens don't know for sure when 87 is coming back. It's his call and he hasn't said.

Not a bad deal it had to get done as there was no room for Testie on the Pens with the team being so deep down the middle.

I have a hard time believing that they go in and ask Sid his feelings about playing and his response is "IIII'LL NEVER TELL! HEHE!"

Given how under the gun we would be soon with the inability to send people down without losing them to waivers, great return. Good deal for CBJ too. How many fourth round picks would ever even see the ice?

A weak return, would have preferred a 2nd or 3rd or maybe a 4th and a conditional 7th or a little extra.

His stock obviously dropped this year so I guess a 4th is fair, especially when it will be like a late 3rd since Columbus will likely finish in the basement.

I hope he has a good career in Letestu, I was hoping he would be able to step up but the team has a logjam at center.

Considering how Letestu has performed since his surgery, I am happy with the return.

Hopefully, he can take advantage of the opportunity he will have in Columbus.

Could anyone possibly be happier about this than me??

This is a case of addition by subtraction; and the 4th round pick is the icing on the cake. I honestly thought we may get nothing more than a waiver fee for him...

This kind of move by Ray Shero terrifies me. When you can get something for nothing like Mr Shero is able to do, it just solidifies his reputation as the best GM in the NHL.

hold your horses, it's only a 4th round pick. I know Letestu has played badly this season but it doesn't mean it erased how well he did for most of last season.

Really? Terrifies you?

This trade isn't a reason why he's the best GM in the NHL.

It was a fair value trade. It's really nothing to get excited over.
