After the horror that was the Montreal game, I am dreading the Rags game.
I predicted that poor Montreal attendance two months ago.
As for the Rangers game, fear not. There are enough "Devilsrangers fans"* that the game will absolutely be a sell out.
*Devilsrangers fan - (noun) People who are ostensibly Devils fans that ONLY go to Devils vs. Rangers games. Devilsrangers fans fixate on the Rangers, and often tend to hate the Rangers as much or more than they actually like the Devils (Example: Mutley)

That was more so about how douchy the Montreal fans were in my section, calling the Devils ****, screaming in French and spilling beer on me and my authentic Parise Jersey.
I've no doubt the game will be a sellout, I'm just not looking forward to those people who show up just to cause problems ala your Definition of a DevilsRangers fan. These games bring out the worst in both fanbases which is why I've never been to more then 1 Devil/Ranger game a year. The only one I went to last year resulted in me almost getting in a fight after the game trying to get on the train. Almost always a bad experience.
Sellout last night...but way too many Ranger fans in the building. The tiered pricing has negatively affected the last two 'premier' games imo and will no doubt affect this one too.
I don't see this one being a sellout either, because of it. I'll be generous and say 16,243 but I wouldn't be shocked if it was lower.
And I'll probably be sitting this one out with lingering virus symptoms.

You're way too high.

Won't be there, sold the tix to a friend (Devils fan of course).
Preimer pricing stinks and Ovie and the Caps have lost some of that "sizzle". Maybe the college night promo and the holiday weekend can bring in 15k plus. Let's hope so.

I think that will populate the 200 level Friday night, good call.
Official: 14,043 lol...this premier pricing really needs to be adjusted (and college night needs to be better advertised). I think we had far more for the ill-fated Isles game last year at the same time of year.

Yeah, premier pricing needs to be looked at by mgmt in the offseason if they want more tickets sold, but it's possible they are grossing more $$ with it than if not.
True with the college night advertising and also, if you took a look at the seats available on Ticketmaster earlier this week the upper level did not have many seats remaining.
Then, all of sudden this morning they magically appeared, many of them available in the 209-226-215 areas.
I know they have to hold back some seats but it seemed they held a whole bunch that may have sold if they were available for sale to the general public and also for the college promo.
Hopefully with more people in the area and no school next week we'll see two strong crowds vs Buffalo and Pittsburgh.
Get out to The Rock folks!
***Thank goodness they pulled off the 2 points tonight
