Just got home to see we were up 1-0. Smith is the man.

So awesome for Horny to get the franchise record for consecutive games with a goal. Hes on fire.

Smith has blazing speed, almost scored a sick goal on that 2 on 1

I wish Weber would've snapped that towards the left pad instead of wristing it into the logo, but Anaheim is giving up some odd man rushes early on.

He was trying to sell the pass. He didn;t actually look at Hiller until the shot was leaving his stick.

Craig Smith never quits on the puck. Ever. He barely lost that face off, was on his stomach, and was still trying to draw the puck back. Sometimes rookies are just awesome to watch

And what the hell were the Ducks doing there? They could have easily cleared the puck as the Preds were changing forward lines, but they just sort of watched it until (I believe) Geoffrion got there.

Well that was a bit of embellishment from Tootoo, but it was a stupid play from McMillen anyway.

And as I type this Erat high sticks Gordon who does his fair share of embellishing

Bad time to let up a goal... Good pressure on one end. 38 seconds left. Terrible, terrible time to give them any hope

Why do we always give up a late goal?

guys came out of the gate with some serious jump. Have continued the pace. Jordin Tootoo is doing his job like a madman. Doing an amazing job! Keep it up boys. Tootoo needs to keep trolling.

and then that happens.

All in all a good period. The goal Fowler scored was just a bad change and a good shot through traffic. Nothing you can do about that except make better changes.

On our side, the team looks good, but if the Ducks are going to gift us so many odd man opportunities they have to start looking for rebounds rather than just shooting it at the chest of Hiller. He is going to catch those every time. Hell, every goalie in the league will.

bad habit of giving up late goals. Hopefully we can bounce back and not allow the ducks to get too much wind in their sails.
