He needs to get on with his life? That's code for, "My wife said I have to cut my hair or else face the consequences."

It's funny because it's likely true.

Hey, I just got ragged on by my wife for a bad case of hat-head. It's universal, unless you're Yul Brunner, or for the younger generation, Bruce Willis, or for Wild fans PMB.

Oh, I know the drill. Way back when I met my gal I had glorious, long flowing hockey hair. Which she said loved. Ha! Ya. Now I can't get past what I consider to be extremely short without being nagged daily...

You know, stuff like this just makes me wonder whatever happened to men being allowed to put their foot down and say "Woman, stop nagging me! I LIKE it this way!".

Seriously.

You learn over time that there's battles worth fighting and others, well, not so much. Not to mention the opposite sex holds all the power in the relationship. When she's not happy, no one's happy...

have you ever had a serious girlfriend?! Sometimes you can trick them into putting up with something by doing something worse beforehand, but eventually they'll grind you down to the way they want you.

Also, you'd rather have the woman actually concerned what's going on with you than not...because when she's not, there's a reason.

How did this thread go from hating Brent Burns to life lessons with women?

It must have been Burnsie's wife that started it all. Let the hatred resume.

If Riser gave us life lessons about women, he would tell us to manage our expectations with a woman and what they expect from us.

And OTH, we're not mad. Just clean our fish!

I tried hating Burns real hard last night, but I failed. Seeing him carry the puck out of the D zone and through the neutral zone made me choke up a little.

Still having a big mancrush on Burnzie!

One sentence: "you know what, i have headaches, maybe another day" and boom, dominated. We are in decline.

I just saw Burns being interviewed after the game last night. Jeez! That haircut and mustache are not a good look for him.

I miss Burns. He was a special player and a great guy. It's hard to hate a guy that has that much zest for life.
