Penguins fan here.

Letestu played great for us last year when called up then earned his spot and stayed for most of the year. Injuries plague us so he was vital to our team. Last part of the year he was the only center that could effectively play with Neal and Kovalev...so I guess you could say he became our 1C.

He's a wee bit slow with his first couple steps but he's got good sense and he's great at faceoffs.

This year, he was simply the odd man out. Its not that he didn't play well...its just that we got over crowded at center and the team felt he had the highest trade value. A 4th for Letestu is a very good deal for you guys. He's a good player with a lot of room for improvement. Not only that but he's got a great cap hit.

I wish him the very best!

This will likely be a net salary dump with revenues looking bleak.

Letestu will fit in at C if/when we trade Vermette/Brassard for a pick.

If it is a salary dump and they're preparing for the season's suck, Howson and Arnie are safe.
