We're unified in our hatred for the Canucks. I guess that's one good thing that results from all the nastiness that comes out of Vancouver - they succeed in bringing the fans of every other team together!

God I am old.
RNH - Cobra - ive seen some ppl call him that. Its not really sticking as much as the Nuuuuuuge.

Hall - Bob Mackenzie called him the Kingston Cannonball, which fits perfectly he is relentless.

Eberle the baby faced assassin. Another coined by Bob Mackenzie.

although maybe petrell gets a bench soon. who knows

Petrell's been too good to get scratched

"We play back-to-back here. This is a big strong team and I think it's taylor made for Devan. It lines up well." Renney on starting Dubnyk.

I'm fine with the call. Renney figures he'll put up with the beating in front of the net better than Khabi and is probably right. Maybe even see over guys a bit better. But Dubie will have to play off his ass tonight and not overcommit or commit early.

Plus, if we lose tonight's game we need tomorrow's a little more and Khabi's fresh.

I hope Eager's out there tonight. If he's not out there for a game like tonight, what was the point of signing him and Hordichuk?

Lots of serenity after the cup win, but don't let it fool you, we're still some of the most critical fans there are

Bruins fan coming in peace. Good luck with the rest of your season after this game. I live in Sask. and absolutely hate Canucks and Flames so you boys are my Western team. Hopefully Joey Moss puts some extra butter on Horcoffs stick and Halls skate blades. JK

Better? He gave up the same ugly goal that Khabby let in against the Habs.

Otherwise the other two goals were pretty decent. One was a completely bullet through about 5 guys and the other he was hung out to dry in front of the net.

DD is a good call. He was going to have to play one of the back to backs so it's probably a better idea for him to play against the bigger stronger team since he is a much bigger guy then Khabi

Geez, don't let Tim Thomas in on this line of reasoning - he'll never play enough games to win the Cup!

I would love to thank Boston Bruins for beating the Vancouver Canucks last June. Otherwise, us Oilers fans would've endured an entire off-season of endless chirp and slagging from those undeserving fans.

But tonight, its business as usual. Go Oilers go, Bruins you're going down tonight!

I hope T.Hall gets a trick and rubs it in Seguins face.

Rip em a new one boys. All the best!
Taylor and Tyler are friends from what i hear and Seguin is not cocky. If your want to see the epitome of cocky look at the player who was traded for Seguin...oh yeah u lost the trade now stop *****ing.

They're definitely not friends, though the media would like them to be.

This should be a good old time hockey game tonight, really looking forward to seeing how the Oil stack up against the Bruins.

Haha yes definitely not friends, but neither of them are cocky as the other poster was saying. They're both humble, nice guys.

Maybe they are not friends but the point I was trying to make is that they obviously dont hate each other either, which some people on this forum are trying to say.

Maybe Hall and Seguin are a little cocky but I think some is needed to be really successful in this league. Neither of them are even close to having the cockiness of Phil Kessel. That guys ego is in a whole different world

Boston's my second favorite team, and my 'squad in the East', and have been for a few years now. Really love and respect what they've built and are building. Coming off a cup win with players like Seguin, Lucic, and Hamilton in the fold, I hope to see them in the Cup Finals in coming years and have some rematches of the series' from the 80s that I never got a chance to watch.

That said, it's a battle today. I've had this one circled since I started coming round to the fact that we actually have a team this year.

Hatty for 'Cannonball' Hall

Very excited!
