This'll be the third game I'll be at for the Sens this year, and 1st of 4 on this road trip. Previous games have been the excellently played loss to Washington early on, and the 5-4 comeback to the Rangers. I see the obvious pattern on this Alfie Day, and that the Sens are going to play a great game and win.
Games against the same team in close proximity of one another are my pun-kryptonite.
So the reason is quickly becoming clear for our losing skid. Sure, teams we're playing employ the Tropp defence, but the truth is we have more holes than the Stafford of a piercing shop. But, hey, the Sabres aren't exactly playing like Cow-Boyes, either. For the skill in their lineup, they're softer than a Vanek! at the Disco song. If our tough guys make some hits, the Sabres are Roy-ally screwed. We should be fine unless is goes to a shooutout again. We all know how h-Ellis-h those are for us. Let's just win, then we can treat the rookies to some Mac-Adam-ia nut cookies while the vets enjoy a cold Miller in honour of our troops. Remember the fallen.
