Hs role as Mr. Do-it-all certainly makes him more prone to injury, don't you think?

They should try putting Semin in Green's spot if he's out. He'd be no longer in position to take offensive zone stick penalties, he'd have much more space to make plays and he's got the same quickness and sleight of hand physical qualities that Green does and arguably a better head for the game. Plus the void Green leaves on puck moving defense could be closed up just like that. If Markov and Burns can be converted from F to D then Semin can tenfold.

Too bad Boudreau lacks the tactical acumen to go through with it.

Plenty to talk about in the post-game and the coach's press conference tonight.

Love the win but you cant win in the playoffs playing only one period. We were completely outplayed for majority of the game.

On the flip side Ward on the top line looks good.

Proof that Boudreau can't coach. He's afraid to convert Semin into a defenseman.

No that's just proof that he's not a generational visionary. For proof that he cannot coach exhibit A-pril does more than enough.

I'd much rather him convert mike green to wing than semin ever on defense.

Exactly how was moving Semin to D any better of an idea?

Dev's handed us game... Well, the opportunity. I'd be pissed if I were a devs fan. I'm sure the team isn't taking it easy.
