Ease up on kid..... We all do things we regret.
When the cheapshot breaks the wrist of a player on a team you follow, you tend to take offense. Yes, maybe I am incorrectly judging his personality off the ice, however his actions on the ice have proven otherwise. He is a habitual offender in the USHL and has been suspended for multiple games on at least two occasions. His actions were with the intent to injure a guy who wasnt even looking.......so yes a classless act. I stand by my judgement.

Not a bad games work.

That won't happen here, his dad won't allow and neither will JF Houle, and JF Houle is the man who solved the enigma that was Krill Kabanov......

Not to mention that his father and Joel Bouchard won't tolerate that crap. And in the Q, someone will come after him.

He's pulling it cause he can get away with it.

He's got issues, that can be worked out.

Jesus ****ing Christ !!!!! Wow he's only played 11 games this year ? Waste of a year, he's seems like a powerfoward, god does he ever need to get out of that league.

We can straighten him out.

The U18 team plays a lot of college programs during the year. They've played sixteen college games this year in addition to the Four Nations and Five Nations Cup Tournaments.

This can't be helping his draft stock.

Which would be better? The Rangers drafting Matteau, son of Matteau, or the Devils signing the other Petr Sykora in the offseason?

Kid plays hard, so what? Not sure that makes him NHL material. It might though. Seems like a goon. Frankly, I'm not impressed with too many of these USNDTP 'draft' prospects

GMs love guys who play hard, they're less impressed by guys who get suspended.

Matt Cooke/Chris Neil with a bit more skills.

Though playing for his dad in the Q might straighten him up... don't forget he is just 17 and will mature with time

This is not a Kid who demonstrated anything like this when he played Midget Hockey in Saskatchewan.

I know the young man and can say without a doubt he competes hard, but he is in no way a problem player. He is among the smartest player in the draft as he has a very high hockey IQ.

He has decent hands and plays the game hard. His skating will need to improve but you can say this about many players. He will be a role player on a team, but he is no goon. He could play on a 2nd line or a 3 line. His play away from the puck is exceptional. I say he gets drafted in the 20-25 range and the team who drafts him will have to wait a couple of years but if patient they will be rewarded with a very smart hockey player.

I wish Stefan well.

At the beginning of the season I mentionied in a post that I believed that he was the only legit 1st rounder F on TUSA.

Now I believe that he is the most overrated.

American Dream will chew my head off for this, but I think more than a few of the F on TUSA are and have been over-rated. There are a few that are very UNDER rated in my view as well.

You'll get no argument from me on the overrated. When I saw the list of invites I was stunned. When I saw most of the names whom they picked from that list I was stunned again.

The 1994 birth year isn't the greatest of birth years anyway, but there are better far better 1994's playing the the USHL who didn't even get a sniff from NTDP. There are players who are now sitting at home, skates hung up, contemplating their options, who did.

Very puzzling year last year's U17's were.
