This is not good for our team, the move that will most likely happen is Clutterbuck coming up to the top line, that or Johnson. I think he had a few shifts there before, but I do wonder about Wellman coming up.
Bad news. Didn't even notice it happen during the game.
Well... That's one strike against our team's potential for this season.
Might have been the time he went into the crossbar. I think Lats was complaining about being pushed by Murray after, but it looked like if there was anything it was incidental.
there was a hit where murry hit him and he hit the ice and looked a little lost for a second then got back into the game, the hit was against the boards.
also remember that giordano hit on him in calgary that could be the cause also just not feeling it right away
either way this sucks, it also sucks that bulmer is back in WHL,
this could be the only chance wellman gets this year, i think the wild might pull through if goalies play well but damn time to trade zanon for a tweener
Damn it. I thought it was something hip related, but a concussion, it's a surprise. The guy worked hard to lose weight all off-season and then got a concussion is so ironic.
bold prediction: the wild will start scoring more like we all expected in the face of this adversity...heater will heat up and seto will seto for nothing less than total domination...
wild will weather the storm and then lats will be back and boom..
....or this will be a complete disaster...one of the two
As reported earlier today, Guillaume Latendresse is out indefinitely with a concussion. He was checked last night by Doug Murray and that's where he thinks the injury took place. However, he was also driven face first into the glass in Calgary two days before by Mark Giordano.
He was symptom-free, but as often is the case with concussions, sometimes it takes another jarring hit to trigger symptoms.
That's conjecture. What's not is coach Mike Yeo is planning on life without Latendresse for a while.
"You hear that word [concussion], you don’t expect to have them back in a day or two anymore, that’s for sure," Yeo said.
Might have been the time he went into the crossbar. I think Lats was complaining about being pushed by Murray after, but it looked like if there was anything it was incidental.
Meh, I don't think so.
That wasn't even a hit and his head never touched the crossbar.
Clutter Brodz Johnson/Wellman (Although I'm not sure Wellman is suited for the grinding, down low battle that those guys are so good at.)
Or they could move up Seto/Bouchard...
Heatley Koivu Seto/Bouchard
Seto/Bouchard Cullen Wellman/Johnson
Clutter Brodz Wellman/Johnson (Although, again, as much as I would love to see Johnson get top 6 minutes, i think he would really surprise in that role, Wellman's game is more suited for it.
They could also go the boring route and move Clutterbuck onto the first or second line. I do not like that idea however. haha.
