Theodore plays in playoff games, he has won 2 playoff series against a #1 Eastern Conference seed and a #2 Eastern Conference seed. He also was spectacular in game 7 against the Bruins. He also led the Habs into the playoffs in 2002.

Second, Luongo has never made the playoffs, I don't care if he gets 40,50,100 shots a game!...nobody cares..doesn't mean they are good shots and some goalies would tell you that I would rather get 40 Shots a game then 18-22 because they feel more on a role.

Third, Theodore played better then Luongo in the exhibitions.

Theodore should be in.

Ya, against the Bruins, mainly because there is some magical force that lets the Habs always beat the Bruins in the playoffs. I would like to see Theodore win a series against a team that is not the Bruins.

It's funny, Luongo gets faced with 40+ shots a game and ends up with a good save % etc...

Theodore faced 40+ shots a game 2 years ago, and won the Vezina and Hart Trophies...

IMO Luongo is overrated.

Dont compare Theo to Luongo...

By saying he's played in "big" playoff games, whoa !has he ever played in Cup Finals? No. How about Conference Finals ? nope.Marty will likely start but we all know who the backup is"the Itallian Prince" as one shouted out .Does Theo have back to back Gold Medals of late?Nope.Who sees more shots on a reg. basis and saves a plenty?Louie of course.Who let in 7 goals this month in a piddily scrimmage game? That would be Theo.So don;t all be saying Theo has been solid. You can flip a coin on when he's been on and off.Luongo is ready to go if called upon because he is the #2 Goalie in the world bar none(Kipper can argue that right now but he will drop off a bit, least I think so).Theo will shine in yrs. to come,as in Louie's backup in international if Luongo ever falters that is.Don't count on it

After tonight I honestly think Theo should get the start if Bordie can't play...Luongo was awful and I can't believe he got second star , what a joke.

Luongo's play tonight proved he was the better choice for starter instead of Theodore, making 37 saves against Czech Republic is no easy task.

Again... the same reason some people say he's good in the regular season, he faced a number of shots, and let in a number of goals, so he MUST be good.

Such nonsense!

I hope they give Theodore a chance if Brodeur isn't ready.

Haha as if they're going to start Theodore.
If Theodore played tonight the game would've been 6-3 Czech Republic.

Only 6-3??? Come on, you're being too nice, Theodore isn't THAT good! it would of been like 10-3 Czech Republic if Theodore started!!

Without all the rebounds, the Cech would have shot 30 times...
And without the softies, the score would be 4-2.

Luongo didn't protected the lead. 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 4-3.
