First off, there`s no childish BS, it`s just you and the way you just ignore what people are saying and still talking the same **** or simply talking about what you want to talk about. Just like talking about how you got bashed for not loving White last season. Well, rightfully so, but back to the point.
The difference between Salvador and White? Well, their contract status, from what we know there might be a difference in their locker room presence as well. Otherwise there`s no difference. With this style of play we had to get rid of one/both as soon as possible.
Volchenkov, while still not being stellar defensively nor offensively is still capable of playing this style of hockey. Outlet/breakout passes? Don`t expect him to do that, but he can pinch, he can shoot and he can skate too (not fast enough, but doesn`t get coned often, unlike White).
Rightfully so? If he was that great, why did he get waived by Lou? You just said a couple of pages back that he wasn't all that good anymore. It's pretty remarkable that you can go from "backbone of our defense" to "very average" over the course of one single summer.
If you are happy with a guy earning 4.25M$ per over the next 4 years so he can pinch, shoot (and miss the net 9 times out of 10), skate (very average skater and that's being nice), plays average in his own end, plays below average in offense, can't make a breakout pass... then more power to you.
