I would expect so. He knows he screwed up last night based on post game comments. Need another debut like performance.

Agreed with Filip2012, would love to see Lehner called up, and if he did, would laugh if he stonewalled the Laffs again.

Wait, what's significant? They play the Bulldogs, don't they?

Lehner still could easily start the game in Toronto tonight if MacLean and Murray so choose.

"We are who we thought we are."

In better news we are marching down the standings to the ever important top 4 Entry draft selection. And these losses make it easier for Murray to put in the rebuild blueprint.

In bad news it makes us less attractive for free-agents in the summer if we are horrible like we were last night. We aren't 1 impact player away right now, we need 1top line winger (Parise), another second line winger (T. Ruutu) from being a legit playoff team.

Parise is staying put, and we have no need for Ruutu due to the fact we'll have Zibby and Da Costa down the middle.

I wouldn't mind snagging James Neal although he'll be an RFA and Pittsburgh got the space to keep him. Obviously Parise would be nice to have but he's likely untouchable as well.

I don't think us struggling will make us less attractive to UFA's. Maybe to veterans who only have a few years left and want to win the cup before retiring...but we got plenty of cap space and an owner who is willing to spend if it makes the team better.

imo, Murray will be very aggresive at the deadline and draft/UFA period(I'm calling it the ''All in for Alfie offseason''.

I think we could have a realistic shot at Alex Semin this summer, and assuming that happens...add in Silfverberg, Zibby, our top pick this draft etc....we most likely will be a playoff team next year.

To paraphrase the guys on hockey central, as long as the young guys are improving, than it's a success. It the old guys that are crappin' the bed these days. Stick with the plan, we will be just fine. Look at the Oilers, that's us next year, year after that.

Isn't NJ going bankrupt? They may very well keep him but it'd be tempting for Parise to be the #1 Free Agent on the market and choose to play in a hockey market where fans actually go to the games.
