Leafs lines.

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
MacArthur - Grabovski - Kulemin
Frattin- Lombardi - Crabb
Brown - Steckel - Dupuis

Gunnarsson - Phaneuf
Liles - Komisarek
Gardiner - Schenn

Scrivens

the bottom 6 might not be perfect. it's been swapped around a little the last few games but either way it'll be a combo of those 6 players. good luck tonight...sorta

Send Rundblad to the A. He's never going to get confidence if he's not given more ice-time and a bit of faith in his ability to bounce back from a rough game for the whole team. For a development year I feel like they're mishandling our most promising prospect.

They're the coaches though and the pros...they know better than an armchair coach like me.

Ottawa being 9th in attendance is a reality, like it or not. With a metro population to draw from at the bottom end of the league to boot.

The odd fool that shows up in a Leaf jersey to most of the games doesn't make a difference and inflate those numbers.

It would be a huge sell in Ottawa, and we should be a playoff next year so we might as well embrace it and not be afraid to say it.
I think we're a lot further away than you do. The only way I'd be signing a free agent next year is if we need the salary to get to the floor. Patience please.....taking shortcuts at this point could condemn us to years of mediocrity.

People last night were shredding him, calling him a guy who got his contract and now doesn't care...a career backup...I mean wow. Talk about a fanbase that is "what have you done for me lately?"

Last year, these same mouth-breathers were demanding that Murray lock him up for 10 years at $5 million per based on his play down the stretch.

Count me on the "I believe that Anderson will work his way through this" bandwagon.
I believe he will too, but it is very frustrating. We all know he can do better, he knows he can do better. The thing is we are 17 games in and nothing has changed. He hasn't been that great for us. He has had his moments in a game or two, but he hasn't won a single game for us. No sort of consistency so far in his game. Personally after I have a bad game, I use it as motivation to have a good outing the next time out. Not seeing it from him. The focus isn't there.

I certainly expected better results, maybe my expectations were too high.

I think they've handled Rundblad pretty well. Before the start of the season most were saying he'd spend the first half in the AHL. They've eased him into the league by pairing him with a solid veteran defenceman in Phillips and regulating his ice-time. I don't think he's scratched because of a bad game, but rather the fact that Lee offers more stability and a touch of grit in a game that could be very physical and against a team that forechecks hard. Rundblad has had some trouble against teams that maintain pressure and forecheck with tenacity.

I expect he'll be back in the lineup sooner, rather than later.

Sittler is a great guy. I met him about 8 years ago and he is class personified. If you're actually going with him it'll be a good time.

Lose the next 20 if it means beating the Leafs in a blowout.

Just WIN against the Leafs no matter what.
