The guy plays less than 2 minutes per game most nights so why even keep him around if you're not gonna use him..

I thought he was good in White's role while White was gone. Guess we get top 6 or bust Palushaj on the bottom line hindering his development instead?

Disappointed he wasn't given more of a shot. He has some things to work on, skating being the biggest thing, but boy could he throw a big hit.

Obviously not the end of the world but it does say a lot how the organization wants to play the game. Palushaj is seen more as a contributor than Blunden is. Blunden was bringing size and "toughness", Palushaj is bringing speed and fanciness....

I would like Gauthier to get JF Jacques from the Anaheim organization. He is exactly what's needed on our 4th line.

What we need on our fourth line is one of the worst players in recent memory?

Spare me the nonsense, will you? If you think Gomez's infamous goalless streak is bad, you'd probably like to know that Jacques started his career with 58 straight games without so much as a point. That was almost a NHL record of futility. JF Jacques can only wish his career was more like Gomez's worst stretch.

JF Jacques is as bad a hockey player as has played since the lockout. I've never understood the fascination some Hab fans have for him, except for the confirmation that the misguided obsession with size has evacuated all rational thought -- the fact that JF Jacques is a complete liability on the ice is completely ignored simply because he's 6'3".

Dumb. Noki Blunden Moen was a gritty fourth line that went out and banged things around. Too bad our coach prefers soft.

Moen never played on that line. It was Darche.

Palushaj makes more sense with AK out. I like Blunden though, the debauchery of that call against him against the rags hurt his case though...

Except for the misread on the goal, hopefully that will be corrected with reps, I liked Gomez on the wing yesterday. I'd like to see him play with Eller and AK and hopefully that would lead to Eller getting more scoring chances and goals. When everyone gets healthy, I'd like to see:

Cammy-Plekanec-Cole
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gionta
Gomez-Eller-Kostitsyn
Moen-Nokelainen-White
Darche

Did this happen in your imagination or actually in reality at any point?

IMHO Jacques and Blunden are both career AHL'ers. Nice size and OK skating, but missing the instincts and/or intensity to make it in the big leagues.

JF Jacques and Blunden are pretty much the same, and both are non-factor at best at the NHL level.

Come on have some perspective. MIKE BLUNDEN has been sent down... MIKE BLUNDEN. You've basically judged this entire hockey club based on one of its history's most unimportant moves. This is like throwing oneself off a bridge due to a coca cola machine eating your 2$.

Blunden was a decent fringe 4th liner but there is no space for him on the roster. He's barely played anyways, he doesn't have much potential and he's definitely dime a dozen. He has absolutely no future with this team considering White will come back eventually, Darche is going to play, like it or not, Blunden is not a center (Noke is good anyways) and the currently injured guys are coming back soon.
