Im off on fridays, compressed work schedule, SO, my plan is to run to WG Mall, get my ticket for simmonds, go to 263 around 5 to be maybe first in line for mez/bourdon, then hop back on 263 for the five minute ride back to WGM and just get in line there. hopefully home by 730?

5 minute ride from the marketplace to WGM at 6 pm on a friday? you'll be lucky to make that drive in under 35 minutes
FYI, all of you who are interested in using paint pens for autograph signings, Molotow is a slightly better quality paint pen than Decocolor at a price premium. They are refillable and offer exchangeable tips and a lot more colors, including a wide range of metallic and fluorescent pens (including metallic black!). Artprimo.com carries them (http://artprimo.com/catalog/molotow-...28_37_183.html). One-4-All 127 (exchangeable 2mm) is about the same as a Fine Decocolor (1.6mm). Another note about last night, BC sports had USA hockey pucks set out for purchase with all the other Couturier stuff. Just because the guy was born in Arizona doesn't mean he plays for Team USA. Didnt want to say anything and come off as a snob.

Who else is he going to play for? Can't make Team Canada anyway and he is American, after all. Seems logical to me.

He's played for Canada's WJ Team. Being born in America may give you the right to be American but he is Canadian. Or however that whole thing works being born here.

Pure speculation here, but Im going to guess that his situation mirrors Brett Hull. Hull was a dual citizen based on his father being canadian and mother being from the US (I find calling the US "America" is disrepectful to our friends to the north and south) thus eligible to play for either team. Canada didnt invite him one year, so he played for the US, and that was why he played for the US internationally.
So, if Cooter got ignored by the Canadian WJC team and US invited him, the same situation could have occurred.
Find out where they stay in NJ or NYI and just hit them up before they leave to go to their game. Probs get the whole team, minus a few who are too cool for autographs.
upper deck is banking on couturier playing for canada. they had him sign a pile of team canada jerseys when they did a signing with him a few weeks back at chikies
I was in and out fairly quick. I wish Simmonds was ok, I planned to hit both, and they rescheduled his for Wed march 7. Gonna be tougher for me to get out there on a work day
