When up two, one just needs to clear the zone, not try for the empty net and turn the puck over.

No, you were correct in questioning it. A SHG on a PP would have been incredibly impressive.

hahahaha and of course the ref found a penalty there. thankfully there are only 7 seconds left, let's get out of here with a win before these fools can bone us over.

Bryzgalov was solid. Gotta work on catching with that glove, though

Bryz was solid, Talbot had a good game, and by far Jagr's worst game, wow he was bad. Good road win though with the crazy special team garbage. Let's win tomm and get a big streak going before next Sat, need a win that game

3 out of 4 points on the trip is a nice feat. Now they need to continue it tomorrow. 5-1-1 road record is impressive.

Good to get a win here. Unnecessary to have it become so nervous there in the end though. Still, I can take a few 3-1, or 4-2 or so wins for now. No need for 9-8 games or complete standstills.

Bryzgalov had a really good game for us. I also liked Simmonds, and Hartnell (though he could have cleared the puck in the end there) was pretty solid as well. He fits together with Giroux and Jagr, and allows them to roam a little bit extra in the offensive zone.

PK continues to impress overall. Although I would prefer it if they didn't get so much time to show it off. Sure, the refs were a bit picky tonight (against both teams for sure), but we really need to cut back on the lazy penalties. Another thing that was good this game was faceoffs. Brière and Giroux were pretty dominant, and I think the others did fairly well too. I don't know how the Panthers have been doing in that category though, maybe they've been even worse than us. Weiss also got tossed from the draw a couple of times (he might not have been in perfect harmony tonight).

Panthers have a pretty strong defense. I don't watch a lot of Panthers games during a season, but they appear to have found a gem in Kulikov. That Garrison fellow had a strong game for them as well.

Auger is such a tool.

Same goes for Chris Lee (not in this game)

P.S Lavi needs to get someone better on PP. Simmonds does not work.

3 out of 4 points. Nice. I thought our goalie was the best player on either team tonight.

I know I'm going to get flamed but I think it's Pronger, atleast in regards to 68.

Jagr doesn't smile as much when Pronger is out there and from what I've seen, he's not the same player either.

Look at the numbers, maybe it's a coincidence, maybe not. Not that anything will change, I'm just sayin.
