Sweet.

Should be a good test for us, since these guys are on fire with their new coach or something.

I say 3-1 Wild Heater gets 1 and the 1st line plays good.

Halak has been off his game all season, so Setoguchi scores a hattrick!

This is a hard one for me to predict. I'm givin it a 50/50. I can almost guarantee the Blues are coming to play tonight and unless we do the same from the start, it could get ugly. We've been winning games and have a good record so far, but it cannot continue forever scoring as little as we do. Our goaltending will not stay this stellar all year. We need more help from the forwards in the offensive zone.

The Blues are a middle-of-the-pack team so if we are as good as we hope, we should be able to beat them.

I'll bet they're still pissed from the last game we played.. Should get nice and chippy!

I'll bet Backes and Peters get into it, with Backes biting Peters in frustration, Burrows style

Will be there tonight. Haven't gone as much as I have in years past but I decided to take a lot of the games later on in the year when splitting with the family this time around. Hopefully that pays off when the Wild are in the mix of things...

Surprised to see Harding get the nod, though. I suppose they don't want him sitting around too much.

Wild wins 2-1.
Harding* lets one rebound hammered in by Backes.

Brodziak & Seto smash the goals for Wild.

Wild keeps winning, people keep whining and everything is weird.

rear-ended on my way into town. ****ing christ, people. first snow/ice of the season. Goddammit, Minnesotans. Mother****ers.

edit:
um...go Wild!

There was a little girl in the car with a Wild sweatshirt on so I kept the dick-factor very low. still, the impending PITA of even a no-fault accident has me in a foul mood.

AFAIK, the driver who rear-ended is very nearly always at fault.

Edit: But MN is a no-fault state so each insurance company still pays for the insured person's car.

Since everyone legally has to have insurance to drive in the state, the assumption is that each company will still pay for roughly the same amount in damages, as they should have just as many cases where their driver is at fault as not. This means the law doesn't have to determine fault, which saves a lot of work for the police and courts.

That said, your insurance company will still review the case, and almost 100% will say the other driver was at fault, which means your rates shouldn't go up.

with Progressive--I got rear-ended last year, too. I don't know what the **** it is about my car but it seems to be a magnet. Both times stopped at a stoplight, so it's not like anyone can say I slammed on the brakes. Wow, I didn't realize Progressive still has to shell out some cash--kinda sucks for them (because i'm an awesome driver) but yeah, I won't get assessed points against. I'm a platinum level customer or whatever so i would get the accident forgiveness thing anyway. It's an Audi so the bumper is gonna cost them some $.

No-fault is really for bodily injury PIP coverage in which you have to meet certain thresholds/permanency/etc. to pursue from the other carrier. As for liability coverage, you can still file a claim with the other insurance company. However, if coverage or liability is in question (and you don't want to wait), file a claim with your own insurance under your collision coverage. Then, if the evidence is in your favor, your company will send the claim to the subrogation department which will then attempt to collect from the other party/insurance carrier. If this happens, you will be reimbursed your deductible. However, the loss will still pop up for underwriters.

Anywho, long story short, is you can file a claim with the other party's insurance carrier.

Tonight's refs are Ghislain Hebert and Stephen Walkom.

Should be a ok game.

EDIT: Wait, 3 French Canadians referees tonight? Wild takes the advantage!

Starting Blues lines tonight:
Steen-Backes-Oshie
Sobotka-Berglund-D'Agostini
Porter-Arnott-Langenbrunner
Grachev-Nichol-Reaves

I expect the top two lines will get most of the ice-time against your top line, with Steen, Sobotka, or Oshie (whoever is freshest) doing some double shifting onto the third line as the game goes along.

Grachev will have a good shot at getting at least a few shifts in next to Arnott, but I don't expect any of Grachev, Porter, Nichol, or Reaves to get a lot of ice-time tonight (less than 10:00 minutes each).

In response to the Halak post above that he hasn't played well at any point this season, he has a .949 save percentage and 1.25 GAA over his last 4 games (.958 and 1.00 GAA in three games since Hitchcock took over).

I expect a lot of physicality and substantially less scoring this game...should be a fun one to watch!

Sounds like licenses and car insurance its very similar there as it is in Manitoba (expect in Manitoba, its a monopoly with MPI doing all the insurance.)
