Even with the the season going the way it has, thats certainly acheivable easily, even stumbling through this stretch should net them at least 5 points.
You may have inferred but the title did not imply that the 31st didn't count.

it doesn't matter, they have 8 or 9 games to get 5 points... it should be an afterthought that they will do this.

Thank you, nice to know someone appreciates that distinction.

It's incredibly unlikely things go as badly as they have to this point. I'm not saying we'll see the Jackets rip off a 10 game win streak but at least give the team a little credit...
Delayed response because I forgot about this thread lol.

I guess I was caught up in the moment. I won't lie. I was depressed with this team. I don't know how far off I'll end up being with this mark, but Sanford has single-handedly helped us get a lot of points we may not have gotten otherwise. I'll take whatever he gives us though.

Looks like Ketih's got a pretty good chance of hitting the nail on the head! Only game I see remaining that they should win, is Calgary at home...Nashville will probably want to start a new streak at home, Hawks should yawn through the next meeting, @ Dallas with Washington at home to close out the year. Considering we only got 3 points out of 10 at home, 3 points out of the next 5 games is probably optimistic. Good luck Keith!

Possible 10 points remaining, 3 points out of the target 25.... It will be close

I will say that I targeted Calgary as a win as well, the wildcard will be New Years Eve, thats always a toss up, no matter who they play....

We also should all know by now that this team always seems to play better when no one is watching and most have stopped really caring about the seasons result.... Its the holidays, people will be traveling, I don't see a ton of people at the Calgary game, but the New Years Eve game should be packed...

I'm still a bit worried that they will surpass it, 3 points out of a possible 10 seems like something this team could do in their sleep at this point. I'm baised, but I'm hoping for a loss in all five games first and maybe 3 OTL's just to get the right guess second.

Needless to say, I'm cheering for Washington in a regulation win on NewYears Eve.

Brain beats heart. It's kind of a rock beats scissors thing.

that will give them 25 points by the new year. Still a complete joke though, the hole is way to big to dig our way out of.
We have a (co-)winner*. Only a BJ collapse was necessary.

We have a co-winner. Ooops-that was for the last 22 games not the season. Keith stands alone.

And who was the idiot who said 17 points? Oh, wait-that was me!
