Not sure if posted but new lines:
Ladd-Antropov-Wellwood
Burmi-Little-Kane
Glass-Slater-Thorburn
Jaffary-Stapleton-Wheeler

No problem with trying to mix it up at this point. We haven't been winning so its not like we have anything to lose. Surprised Wheeler is stuck on the fourth line, you'd think the team would want to jump start him...

GST re-united, hallelujah!

As far as Wheeler, they gave him a promotion, and he didn't respond. As far as I'm concerned, he can stay on the 4th line.

Wheeler shouldn't be on the fourth line, he should be in the press box!

True, but in order for us to be a successful team I think we NEED to get something out of him. He's not going to get it going on that line...

Splitting up Antro and Burmi? Idunno... I wouldn't mind seeing:
Burmi-Antro-Welly
That could work... Very well.

Don't mind line two...

GST is reunited... Good.

Hopefully this serves as a wakeup call for Wheels.

Good to see GST back together.

And last year I was always calling for an 8-9-10 line, obviously Little is 18 now but I still think they can create something.

Not exactly how I would've made the lineups but still an improvement.

So Ladd and Little are finally split up but now our two guys with the most chemistry are split up as well in Burmi and Antro? Oh well, maybe it'll jump start some guys.

Didn't we have 8-9-10 for a couple games last year?

If what Noel said in his pre-game is any indication of what to expect tonight in terms of playing Tampa's 1-3-1, I expect a very solid game from this team in the form of high energy, playing to the basics, dump and chase, hard forechecking, crash the net, etc. That is how this team needs to play every game in order to be successful, in my opinion. Just work hard and stick to the basics.

I gotta good feeling about tonight. Win or lose, I think we see an excellent effort.

Become an HF Sponsor and you won't see those ads, and you will get other goodies too. Someone has to pay Holden's ridiculous GDT making salary <edit> I see Hank got you already :p

I'm starting to wonder if we will EVER see Hainsey play again.

I want to say I expect the team to play an awesome game tonight, but they made a fool of me on Saturday for saying the same thing. I am suspicious of what we are going to see from them tonight, but hoping for the best.

Making a vCash bet to try and change the teams luck.

GO JETS GO!!!

What's with all the music videos? This GDT looks like a teenagers' facebook wall.

I appreciate having Jaffray up here a lot more after reading the articles posted by Mikos. It's one thing to hear speculation as to why roster moves were made (and I did my fair share of speculating). But to hear guys like Mason (respected vet) and Glass (Stanley Cup finalist) also state that the culture of losing migrated north with the team as well is more than a little eye opening. I'll be watching Jaffray tonight, hopefully he's a walking can of Red Bull like he's described. Also will be rooting for Kulda to impress well since he has been rock solid for the Ice Caps thus far.

This game will be tight with Boucher's buzzkill system of hockey. Lately we have been cycling puck well (minus the fact we don't stick a guy in front of the net) but am not sure how effective you can do that against the 1-3-1.

I would love to see one of the guys Tebow after a goal but am not holding my breath. It's a great morale booster though, we Tebowed at work and were way more productive in the office after.

Since Jets 2.0 returned this year Mrs. Monty has consented to the following:

1) Watching pre-season games in their entirety
2) Letting me watch entire games on the largest, bestest TV in our house
3) Watching those same games with me, and not talking "Off-Topic" whilst the game is on.
4) Agreeing that TSNJets is now a required channel on our cable package
5) Arranging our annual sports vacay around the Jets playing in Chicago at Thanksgiving
6) Getting our name on the waiting list for season tickets - we're 229 on the list, so next year looks like a real possiblity

I ask, for all that is Holy, please do not return Mrs. Monty Version 1.0 - I much prefer the substitute, thanks.

I corrected your post for you:

Unfortunately, from what I have heard from my diehard Bruins fan friend, demotions, benching and berating seem to have the opposite effect on Wheeler. He sulks and plays worse.

I think at this point it's not about getting him going anymore, it's about putting people who are more capable of doing the job in the top 6 forward role. Wheeler looks like a throwaway at this point.

Granted though Burmi and Antro have been ice cold together for the last 8 games. Bust it up, give something new a shot.

Glass, Slater, Thorburn = The GST.
Ladd, Antropov, Wellwood = The LAW.
