I am not sure impressed is the right word. After a point proving yourself moves to complete idiocy.

Oh no. I think it's impressive. If you can take that many shots and still hang in there, that says a lot.

You can never do enough to prove yourself, and Neilson in one fight went a long way in proving that you're not going to hit him once and he's going to fall. He just took repeated punches by one of the best fighters in hockey today.

Mac whooped his ass, but I can guarantee that he has a new level of respect for the guy for hanging in there. I'm sure his teammates do too.

Kudos to Neilson for not wanting to back down. Whether you wanna call him doing that brave, gutsy, or stupid, the fact of the matter is...he hung in there a hell of a long time. Which is something not a lot of other guys would have been able to do. Most would have either fallen, or given up early on in that bout. Or not even would have wanted to go with Big Mac at all.

With that said, Big Mack should be re-nicknamed to "Monster Mack" for sure. The dude is a ****ing beast and a half..'nuff said.

I don't know who won. Was it Neilson's face, or MacIntyre's fist?

I really think MacIntyre could have sent him to the hospital if he really wanted to, I think he eased up a good bit after Neilson took three good punches to the face and was all bloody. But I do give him credit for hanging in there, it still wasn't an easy task I'm sure.

Just shows how much Godard fell off from year 1 to year 3. Tough job.

MacIntyre is really what Eric Godard was from a few years ago.

Side Note: MacIntyre is a good enforcer. He jumped Brad Staubitz and went crazy after he hit one of the younger guys.

Because MacIntyre is a much more effective hockey player.

Maybe he feels that Tampa and Florida are more physical and wants to add some grit to the team in anticipation.

Or maybe because Tangradi won't develop if he gets 4:00 of ice time with Craig Adams on his line.

Really guys? Or it makes more sense for MacIntyre to sit in the press box instead of Tangradi. We really don't understand this concept yet?

I just thought Tangradi had been playing really well and deserved a longer stay and some more NHL playing time.

I counted about 22 hard, solid punches Mac landed to that dudes face. Wow.

I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep seeing either of them in there over Park.

MacEntyre (I don't even know his first name) has the best job in the world. He gets paid to watch hockey and to practice with NHL players every day.
