Sekera has played pretty well for most of the season so far. Myers has had numerous bad nights.

I'd say Myers has effected Sekera more negatively than vice versa...Sekera was GREAT for 11 games...Myers hasnt been great yet.

Had to pick one of the several he could have picked. Plus we need Myers to snap out of it more than anyone. When he is at his best we are a very good team.

Sekera was awesome all season until he was paired with Myers. This move makes perfect sense imo. Here's to hoping the team comes out pissed off (while being disciplined) and rolls tonight.

Yup same! Feel it'll be a tight game and final score will be 4-3.
Your offense worries me much.

Peace!

Perfect, this is exactly what I was hoping for. Bring on Weber, give Myers a game or two to get his head on straight.

Hopefully Ruff has enough sense to not put Weber on the top pairing though.

Sabres come out weak and down 3-0 in the first 10 minutes, Enroth is blamed and yanked. MacIntyre comes in and gets the shutout Sabres add an en and win 5-3. People then claim that MacIntyre should start.

This game has one of two outcomes in my mind: either the Sabres harness all the emotions that came out of Saturday's game and rally around each other and play an insipred game - or they run around looking to prove their toughness, take multiple bad penalties, and lose the game after having to kill 10-11 penalties.

Or they just come out completely flat and uninspired after getting their ***** kicked in Boston (both figuratively and literally), lay an egg and meekly leave Montreal with their tails between their legs. So 3 possible outcomes, I guess.

Six-oh-and-oh for Enroth?
No injuries, please.

i always enjoy our games with montreal. we need luke adam to wear some hulk gloves for when he handles the puck.

Doesn't matter, could be either. I don't know if you got Shanahan's message today, but apparently star players can lay out goaltenders and get 2 minutes a piece for it. I'd like me some of that.

Party time for most here in the game threads -
Mike Emrick is out - Kenny Albert is in.
Guess that means Sabres win as we are 0-2 with Doc this season.
Bad news for Wed though - unless Doc is out sick or there are other reasons -
he should be in the booth to announce his former team - the Devils.

LS...

I cannot believe that we have boston break our hearts and now we get to hear the Versus crew, like a bunch of old vultures.

Don't forget the phone call and the hard questions like.. "Mr. Lucic, did you intend to hit Miller that hard?" We can't forget that.

However, Price hasn't done anything wrong. Don't run him.

Doesn't matter. Neither has Tim Thomas. It's the NHL itself that decided this was kosher, the NHL itself that needs to pay, and Carey Price picked the wrong day to be an NHL goalie.

This is what Brendan Shanahan asks for when he institutes a standard that calls for cowboy justice. I just want my piece of cowboy meat.

Third game in four nights and a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on, topped by a game on the road has me thinking the Sabres are going to get waxed tonight.

5-1, Habs.

5-1, Habs.

That would be quite depressing if it happens.
