"This is getting to be very disappointing. We were a terrific road team last year and we played hard and we showed up every single night. So far this season it’s been the opposite. We’re outstanding at home, we don’t give anything to anyone, but then we get on the road and we get down by two or three goals, usually in the first period. I’ve changed the pregame routine, shuffled the lines, I’ve done this, I’ve done that, I’ve done it all. We’re going to have to find another way."
"Right now, I don't think it's a question of changing how we play. We've beaten some top teams at home and played great offensively and defensively. Then we go out on the road and we come out soft, we don't skate. And then when we feel the urgency because we are down 3-0 or 2-0, all of sudden we get going.''
"It's a bit annoying to be honest with you. We know we have a better team than what we've shown on the road, and we've had a period or two in every game when we've played really well. But as you know, that's not enough to win games."

Almost 8:00pm, let's get this show on the road, people.

Especially if they're going with 11 forwards, it'll force the issue. Take into account Thompson's penalty killing, and it becomes increasingly clear that those lines aren't set by any means.
What's interesting about the lines at practice is that they have known pairings: Vinny-Purcell, Marty-Stammer, Downie-Shannon, and then the TNA line split up amongst them. (also acknowledging Moore-Connolly would be a pairing by that logic)
We've got a lot of guys who can play center. I'd like to see some different guys get a shot at it tonight. (if we do go with 7D)
Random note: a line of Hall-Thompson-Jones should be referred to as the 'NBA' line, as they'll lock you out.
