To beat the Wild, Sacco will take the guys on a wilderness retreat...it made so much more sense when he thought of it then when the bears started chasing them.

Didn't the Avs hunt the Bears last game they played?
Changing the name and profile picture to enhance our luck...or something.
I was wondering who you were. I saw you dishing out warnings in the Chris Stewart thread and I was wondering why is there a mod of a another team giving out warnings in the Avs forum. I was like are our guys doing that poor of a job?
I know we aren't going to rip letters off players chests, but giving As to McLeod and McClement was a bad idea. McClement is a new guy and plays a minor role. McLeod isn't very good at playing hockey and is prone to taking stupid penalties. It's like Foote with the C at the end. If you can't back things up with your play, you don't have that authority.
I agree 100%, a pair of 4th liners rotating the A isn't good. I think that 2nd A should rotate between O'Reilly, Johnson and maybe Duchene (see how he does with it). But, Sacco does what he does I guess.
I know we've all talked about Sacco and his lack of structure/system but my god was it apparent during that Pittsburgh game. Granted it's comparing polar opposites. We really have an incredibly difficult time generating scoring chances. Most of our goals come from the other teams mistakes - we are so opportunistic which is a good thing but we need to create our chances; ideally not with 5 minutes left in the 3rd down a goal.

Haha, guess you missed it when I couldn't get it to accept my Avatar change. I also clearly did this to keep everyone on their toes, stealth mod!
My guess for tonight is: the Avs play hard and play well for the whole game but still lose due to hot goaltending by the Wild and again we take stupid penalties that come back to haunt us on the PK.
Low scoring game 2-1 or something like that.
On a side note, I'll be watching this game on Gamecenter Live on my computer since apparently, High Definition has not reached Minnesota yet. (losers)
NHL Center Ice only has the regular definition feed for this game.
I expect Avs to dominate the play and then get a deflating goal against and the wheels come off and then have our 5 minute rush in the 3rd, but end up losing 4-2.
Yip with both of our goals.
Johnson and Hejda both a -3.
Hejduk and Duchene collide giving each other concussions.
Varlamov pulls his groin in the pre-skate, out 2-3 weeks.
Hunwick plays and turns the puck over for the GWG for Minnesota, but he finishes the night with 2 assists and a +1 rating.
Giguere gets injured in the last 5 minutes, so Quincey puts on the pads.
Lindstrom fights Clutterbuck and wins.
I meant like out at a bar or something but yeah that works. Virginia liquor stores aren't like Colorado liquor stores though; they have only liquor (no wine or beer), are state run, have crappy hours and mediocre selection.
