idk.... he threw his hands in their pretty good, more than just protecting. classic Avery yes, and probably a target, but I would have called the same thing.

So ridiculous that we are tied with this garbage team. And I'm sure their fans are claiming how they are outplaying us, etc.

Totally out played the Isles but tied at 1--some things never change.

Rangers dominated. Lundqvist needs to make that save to maintain the edge over the Isles in terms of momentum. Meh, whatever. Two more like the 1st and the Rangers win this easy

Mottau had his gloves off, is that not a penalty? Jesus. If Avery gets one, Mottau should get two there

Mottau should have gotten an extra two for dropping his gloves, dude.

The Avery hate continues from the refs. Sean's playing a great game in the offensive zone and that is the first minor penalty he's taken since rejoining the Rangers.

I think Hank wants that goal back, but it was by no means a soft goal. Rangers shoudl be able to light up Nabakov, but like we all know these Rangers/Islanders games never play out like we want them to.

Keep the foot on the gas pedal and let's get some insurance goals.

Girardi had some really bad turnovers and McDonagh had no idea that was a 3 on 2 rush.

Our offense looks good, though. In particular Richards, Avery, and the Gaborik line.

That's pretty much what it has become. In fact, I can't remember the last goal our fan base thought was decent.

Everyone, is ALWAYS one "Hank wants back" expectations for him have become unrealistic. He will be the new Luongo if we try and crucify him for every puck that beats him.

Also, anyone notice Avery screaming at Mottau? Said, "You're ****ing dead" to him. Figure they'll fight after the penalties expire.

Good period, apart from the goal. Outshot them 14-5.

I know, guess rules are rules, only saw it once. Did he drop them and start swinging without anything from Avery at first?

this has been a great game to watch if your a hockey fan. now from a rangers standpoint we need to keep up the intensity and make much smarter plays in our own end. luckily islanders only got 1 goal but could have easily capitalized on more. in the o zone we look real good creating oppurtunities and getting a lot of shots. lets keep it up.
