Minor or not, all of these things got thrown under the bus. However if a school like Florida or LSU does it, it gets leaked to ESPN faster than you could say "Touchdown"

When healthy, he's the #4 guy for the Panthers (was a 3rd rounder, IIRC). But since Thomas Davis and Jon Beason got hurt, he started. Along with Omar Gatiher. Then he got hurt. Along with Omar Gaither. Thomas Williams got a shot, then he got hurt.

Connor should play next week I think.

But management won't look too kindly in any involvement in this whole situation. That's for sure.

That part is old news though. This scandal shouldn't be thrust upon the players. The act is old. Like some 5ish years ago.

I dont believe they mentioned in the article about Dan Connor, that was rumor I heard back when this happened in 2005 when he was suspended 3 games. (I forget the name of the coach but it allegedly wasnt Sandusky). As far as the link for the story, I will look for it. Im sure it is on the internet but the one I read was in the actual magazine in which their was a special report on Penn State.

I think this is the article I read from the magazine

Since the coach allegedly wasnt Sandusky I dont see why he would be in trouble at all.

Colin Ciwherd saud a couple weeks ago it was Sandusky. He has available sources you and i don't. Not saying he's 100% right though but he would more than likely know more than you or I.

It was Joe Sarra, and Connor was in the doghouse for it back in 2005, he sat out the first 4 games of the season. It really has nothing to do with the current scandal at all.

Apparently from 02-08 there were some 40 crimes and well over 100 counts regarding the Football team.

Hmm....the Penn State program isn't or wasn't as clean as some have spewed over time.

All goes back to my original theory on the NCAA, everyone plays dirty, it's all a matter of getting caught.
Actually, most people acknowledge that the program has had a lot of run in's recently with the law, when we talk about "dirty" or "clean" we refer to NCAA rules and graduating players.

Still don't think it's clean regarding NCAA rules. Whats coming out now could change that. JoePa seemed to be pretty negligent and let things go. All these crimes and special treatment? If these incidents happened in SEC Land things would have broke and suspensions handed out. Hell, Jefferson @ LSU was suspended for a bar fight...

they have had no major, and minor i think also, recruiting violations, that's what PSU alums hang their hat on, though I don't think many people will be mentioning it anymore, cause no matter what you do if you are basically running a local chapter of NAMBLA you can't brag about recruiting violations.

I'm not sure many schools have recruiting violations. It seems like every school has been tagged for something different.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- A former Penn State assistant football coach accused of molesting boys for more than 15 years faces two new claims of child sexual abuse, including one from a family member, but both are unfounded, his lawyer told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Attorney Joseph Amendola said one claim against Jerry Sandusky stemmed from a Sandusky family dispute, and he characterized the other as an example of people trying to mimic other allegations.

The Patriot-News of Harrisburg first reported one of the new claims involves a family member.

"That doesn't surprise me, because we believe there would be a number of copycat allegations, people who really maybe not even had direct contact with Jerry but ... try to jump on the bandwagon," Amendola said.

Kinda funny to be honest. This story had really died down a bit too. Not sure why he of all people needs one.
