If we are going to win tonight, two things need to happen...

1) Score a ****ing PP goal
2) Parise shows up

This is the sort of game where we'll need to be carried by our best players. The Bruins are not an easy matchup at all. Their first line has been hot for the past week, and we'll need to shut them down.

You think thats bad? Go rewatch the comeback video against toronto (Kovy's first game).

That winning goal, all five players who were on the ice for it are gone.

I think Parise goes down with an ankle injury now that you said that. This team needs more adversity to prove to me they have playoff grit.

I believe it was Pandolfo, Langenbrunner, Niedermayer, White, and Mottau on the ice for that one.

Actually, it was worse than what Lucic did, but since it wasn't a Bruin, it wasn't that big of a deal I guess.

Since us Devils fans have such intense hatred for the Bruins

Cam got there the same time as the goalie and tried to pull up from hitting the goalie, as opposed to being well behind the puck and making sure to make contact.

No, just the league in general. Which is fine by me. Had they lost the cup to the even more-hated Canucks, I bet a lot more fans would like the Bruins.

Janssen steam-rolled Price and actually got a much bigger chunk of him, just Carey is a big tough guy who got up quickly and fought back.

Lucic steam-rolled Miller, who is a 170 pound baby.

It was a glorified push in the shoulder. I doubt Miller was hurt from that play. If it Erik Christensen pushing Johan Hedberg, we wouldn't be talking about it at all.

We've had an exceptionally long discussion about this in another thread. There are some here who are on your side, also plenty who disagree. I'd rather this thread didn't turn into a 40 page discussion on that hit, though. If you'd like to read what we think and talk about the hit, check the "News from around the league" thread.

Uh, most of us here prefer the Bruins to the Canucks by quite a lot. You can drop the victim act.

We win no matter who posts it because Moose is the second best goalie in Devils history behind Burke.
